The Stables - Farm at Freeburgh on Ovens River

With direct, private access to the Great Valley Trail and the Ovens River, The Stables provides luxurious bespoke accommodation and complimentary mountain bikes for your stay. Located on 10 acres, The Stables is an outbuilding to the family home, along with our farm stay, The Barn. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Wee Varrich

Wee Varrich nestles within a delightful landscape; a fusion of carefully sculptured plantings of trees, shrubs, hedges, lawns and vines, against the power of the Stanley State Forest. Situated on the edges of Stanley village, the entrance to Varrich is a winding path through tall eucalypts. The property is situated on 2.49 hectares on land that was mined during the Gold rush era of the 1850’s. Wee Varrich is a fully self-contained cottage adjacent to the main house and secluded by plantings.

This unique and tranquil experience, Your very own mud brick miners cottage on a lavender farm that has fantastic views. 5km to Bright. Also near by is the Rail trail, Golf course and walking tracks, Mount Buffalo and its historic chalet. With an adequate equipped kitchen and a BBQ on your own veranda.Great sunsets, starry nights, wood fire and a nearby mountain stream also on the property. The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

Green Gables is a peaceful cottage situated in lush gardens on the banks of the Ovens River in Bright. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Off-Grid Bush Escape | Bath + Fireplace

More than just a place to stay — Mittagong Talia is a 54-acre secluded bush escape beside Reedy Creek in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park 30mins from Beechworth, designed to help you switch off and unwind. Our cosy private solar powered cabin is set on our farm in the picturesque Kiewa Valley. Close to snow fields, the Hume Weir, Kiewa River, and gourmet food and wine regions. Everything you need for a relaxing weekend away from life's hustle and bustle! We have gas stove and heating and the shower is run with a solar powered gas heating system . There is also a solar powered fridge in the cabin for guests . Sunsets and star gazing are perfect
