After a great day at the park you can turn on the BBQ, grab your cold beer from the fridge and relax under the tree on the patio as the sun sets on Bear Mountain. Paradise!

The cottage is also a perfect location for a peaceful getaway where you can spend time simply relaxing amidst classic California scenery: oaks, pines, and the ever-changing skies.

Our solar-powered guest cottage is an architect-designed tiny home for 2, in a peaceful rural area. It is just 28 minutes from beautiful Kings Canyon National Park. There is a view of meadows and guests are welcome to stroll the half-mile around and view the sheep, dogs and horses. Birdlife is abundant and nearby is Cat Haven ( featuring lions, snow leopards etc.). Yosemite is within reach for a day trip. We have a great coffee shop 2 minutes away! Sorry, no assistance animals (see house rules)

Guests can also explore the Giant Forest & the General Sherman Tree by using the General’s Hwy. The Baker House is conveniently located just a short 10 minute drive off of Hwy 180. Yosemite is a doable day trip from the Ranch.
