AIRD VILLA, Scalpay, on the Isle of Harris

Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

An ideal base to explore the stunning Isle of Skye and to then come home to relax and sit whilst watching the sun setting. Clarkie's corner Hillview is a new conversion furnished to a very high standard in the township of Edinbane near Portree. Clarkie's corner Hillview also has the benefit of super fast wifi. It's made up of a cosy bedroom with shower room and small kitchen. We are very central for sight seeing, short drive away from Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Quiraing, Fairy Glen,Fairy Pools etc. In addition Edinbane where we are located has some amazing food, friendly neighborhood and traditional music.

Our beautiful wooden pods are set on the hillside behind the Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse and enjoy amazing views across to the bay and the hilly surroundings of Uig. In a wonderful location to explore the Isle of Skye, our property is perfectly situated for enjoying spectacular sunsets. The front of the house has views across Uig bay, where you can sit and watch the comings and goings of the fishing boats and the ferry to the Outer Isles from Uig pier.
