A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Also with a three night stay we will drop you off or pick you up using your canoes or kayaks. Pictures are current.

The bathhouse is large with a sink, shower/bathtub, and toilet. It has electricity, hot water with a locking door for privacy. It is only steps away from the cabin. The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character. The Pickeral Palace is set on a quiet, peaceful lot on Pickeral Lake. This is a no-motor lake located next to all-sports Fife Lake. The cabin features an older section with a unique cedar-wood kitchen, a more modern living room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The living room and master bedroom have sliders to a large deck that has a commanding view of the lake. Modern, fully-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities included. Quiet relaxation awaits.
