This prairie hideaway is spacious enough for small families and just minutes away from The National Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, as well as the oldest working Kansas courthouse. Enjoy fishing at the Chase State Lake just a few miles up the road or wade through the cool waters of the Chase Lake Falls and wildlife area. Located in a very old town.

You are renting a century-old homestead house. Bathroom on the main floor, 5 beds upstairs. If you are physically impaired, stairs may be challenging for you. Nice propane Grill, side burner & dishes provided. Mid sized frig. Good coffee. Fire pit. Boat dock with chairs, sunrise! Approval req for small children. No pets, No parties. High speed WIFI. This 2BR lakeside home is perfectly suited for a peaceful and relaxing yet accessible getaway. Beds are provided for sleeping up to 6 people (a queen in the master bedroom and a quad bunk in the second bedroom). A sofa sleeper allows guests alternate sleeping options as well. Part of a rural lake community with easy access to a swimming beach, fishing, kayaking, walking, biking!! A five minute drive into the local town provides easy access to groceries, general goods, and local restaurants.

The main level features two queen bedrooms, a TV room, bath, kitchen and lakeview room overlooking the large, gently sloping yard and lake. Additional sleeping with futons in the TV room and lakeview room. Enjoy brick-paved patio with colorful adirondaks around fire pit, a hammock, horseshoes, ping pong, charcoal grill and picnic table. You have the use of fishing poles, 2 kayaks and a canoe with life vests

The Grove Getaway was est. in 2020. Come enjoy year-round lake life with waterfront firepit, tree swing, hammock, and dock plus 3 rooms, 2 baths, and 2 comfy spaces. A beautiful living & kitchen reno with gorgeous lake views wins guests over on arrival. A gas fireplace warms up the family room and a tankless water heater keeps bathing HOT! The "Church" Guesthouse

Come to church this weekend . . . The Church Guesthouse in Cottonwood Falls that is! The Church is an artfully revitalized Presbyterian Church built in 1885 which now has four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths and will sleep up to 10 adults. Two of the bedrooms ( with queen beds) are downstairs along with a bath and a half downstairs. 2 bedrooms are upstairs (two twins and one with a full size bed) the loft has two twins with a full bath upstairs. Parties and events are not allowed.
