From the moment you arrive, the rolling lawn sweeps you down toward the river, where the Mississippi moves quietly past. Inside, a breathtaking view through a 16 foot glass door, framing the river like a living painting.

This charming home is an ideal, tranquil retreat. While only a moment's walk from town, it is secluded, sitting directly on the lake. Kayaks are provided. Watch the sun rise and set from the house, the shore or while floating. The house is fully furnished w/ linens. Come to focus on doing the things you love: walking, shopping, fishing or watching languid sunsets lakeside. Please note: Month-long stays are not available June-Aug. Lovingly preserved and recently refreshed, we now want to share our little red cottage on Lake Minnetonka with guests who want to enjoy a calm, relaxing suburban lake getaway. The cottage offers a lot, and yet because we're in a quiet neighborhood and live on the commons, the little red cottage is not a spot for parties, reunions, bigger groups, or people needing boat access.
