Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Two Island Lake Cabin

A warm & bright lake cabin welcomes you to Two Island Lake with a sunny south-facing waterfront, private dock, row boat, canoes, paddleboards & a campfire overlooking the water. Float the lake, cozy up by the woodstove, or awe at brilliant dark skies. Venture out by bike, boat, ski, snowmobile to 15 different lakes within a 10 min drive/OHV. Experience the magic of solitude (3mi to BWCA Wilderness, 5min to Eagle Mtn hiking) and then head 12-25min to the beloved Raven Rock Grill or Grand Marais.

Superior Lakefront Cabin - Beach - Trail Access

Lakefront cabin located at the site of historic Captain's Cove Boat Tours. The interior has been newly renovated to include modern fixtures and finishes to an open floor plan that maximizes the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. For epic panoramas of the lake head out to the yard for a hot cocoa by the bonfire, or a glass of wine at the charming deck on the bluff's edge. Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche.
