Our lovely cottage & courtyard garden is on a quiet street in old Harwich, just one road back from the pier. Excellent pubs & beach staggeringly close, 5 minute walk to train station, 2 stops to international ferry to Holland, London 1hr20m. The cottage has three bedrooms over two floors (with very steep stairs) and is suitable for children & well behaved, house trained pets. I have completed the Control of Cross Infection in a Post Covid 19 World Qualification, which guides our cleaning regime.

Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

Suffolk Barn Annexe Rural Retreat near Framlingham

Our self-contained, well equipped Annexe is converted from cattle sheds & a horse engine room. It's light & spacious and adjoins the timber framed barn where we live. We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, quiet getaway. The Cart Lodge

This rustic self contained apartment situated above a Cart Lodge. Accessed by steps (they are quite steep so probably not suitable for someone infirm), it is one large room with a king size bed, a lovely wood burning stove (wood provided), a well equipped kitchen area with dining table and chairs, a sofa and large TV/dvd/radio/cd. There is a small shower room at the end. There are a selection of DVDs and magazines for your use. There is no WiFi.
