Jonathan is a great host! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome — he even left some duck eggs in the fridge for us. The house is beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend!

Perfect quiet secluded location and delightful amenities. This was my second time here and probably won't be my last! I highly recommend a day hike at the nearby state park.

My friend (who is an airbnb super host) and I really enjoyed our 2 day stay at the Swan Creek A Frame. We got excited as we approached the property and saw our sweet accommodations tucked up the hill, beautifully lit up for our arrival. Check in was simple and we were happy to see that space was clean and had all that we needed, plus some. We immediately felt right at home! The view from the property is amazing, especially at sunset with the panoramic view of blue ridge mountains in the distance. It was great sitting out on the porch in the comfortable chairs sipping on wine from the vineyard down the road. :) I wish we had more time to enjoy the out door amenities: the fire pit, hammocks and jacuzzi. It is a great location for visiting the vineyards and wineries in the area and just an all around peaceful place to be during your travels in this neck of the woods. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends!

We had a lovely stay, the porch was definitely our favorite part and it had a nice kitchen. As he mentions you at in the country so there are bees and bugs. We did kill two wasps inside in the bedroom both days but that was to be expected with the description.

We had a wonderful time at this little cabin in the woods. It's on a beautiful piece of property and even though there were a few other buildings around, it felt very private. You could hear the stream in the background which was just lovely. The cabin itself was extremely clean and very welcoming. The decor was nice without being too cluttered feeling. Just the perfect amount of stuff. I don't think more than 2 people could stay here comfortably as it's basically just one big room, but for us, it was absolutely perfect! The back deck overlooked the stream and had a hot tub. We didn't use the hot tub and it was a bit loud which drowned out the sound of the stream. Teresa said that in the future, we can ask that it be turned off if we're not going to use it, so that's a great option for next time. Overall, a great place to spend a lovely, restful weekend in Elkin. We definitely plan to come back!

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

This place never fails. my kids play and float in the creek, we grill out, have dodge ball and wiggle ball competitions in the big open field.

One of the most delightful places we have stayed. The space was designed so well it was like being at home but in a comfortable country setting. This is one place I would recommend without reserve.

Stayed at the A Frame for a birthday weekend getaway. Easy to find, comfortable beds and nice clean bathrooms, beautiful scenery, and lots of places to sit, which is important for a family of 5! We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine and lounging inside. We drove about 30 minutes to Westfield for a scenic, delicious birthday dinner at Big Creek Lodge Restaurant. Close by is Hanging Rock State Park and we hiked to the top and to the upper cascade falls. Then we enjoyed ice cream at the Front Porch Creamery. We stopped by Priddy’s General Store that’s been there for 100 years and chatted with the owner. We ate dinner at El Cabo, also nearby and delicious. Fire wood was provided for the fire pit, where we told stories and drank hot chocolate under the lights. On our way out of town, we drove to the top of Pilot Mountain and hiked a bit then stopped at Aunt Bea’s BBQ for lunch. Looking forward to coming back to explore more of this area of NC. Carey's cabin was exactly what my family needed after long hours in the car and stressful business engagement .It was perfectly located just a short drive from Winston Salem and between two of the most beautiful State Parks which we are able to explore. My children loved playing the board games provided, roasting smores under the stars and waking up to deer crossing the property and a spectacular sunrise. The cabin itself is filled with the warmth of the hands that made it,we are thankful that we were blessed with an opportunity to share a few days in her special place !

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this cozy cabin with my husband and our dog. The remote, quiet location was perfect for unplugging and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the place was thoughtfully stocked with everything-from dog bowls to extra blankets. We especially loved the patio with a TV-such a fun and unique touch for evenings outside. A perfect spot to recharge. Highly recommend!

This cabin is fabulous! Every detail has been carefully thought through. It is so very warm, cozy and inviting inside and out. We will definitely come again. The host were friendly and treated us like family.

Great location, very clean, and beautiful cabin! 10-15 drive to Elkin for food or whatever else you need. A dozen or more vineyards within 10-15 minutes as well! If you’re coming for a wine weekend getaway, this is the place!

Bob and Candy were awesome hosts! Quick to respond with any questions, and are very friendly. One of the best hosts we have ever encountered. The place is beautiful and recommended to other guests. They have equipped the place with anything you would need. Would definitely return. 10/10

A really amazing place that we enjoyed. It was as described and one of the best AirBnb's we've visited. We had a family of 7 (3 of them teenagers), and we had plenty of room with the loft spaces. Everything was picture perfect and well done. We would definitely stay again. Close to Elkin (good restaurants) and everything you might need, but very private and rural. At night, outside, I heard no noises of civilization, just peace and quiet. We walked down the hill and swam in the river, which was a little chilly but lots of fun. Visited Stone Mountain State Park and Pilot Mountain while we were there. I wish we could have stayed longer.

What a beautiful and unique cabin. I have stayed at quite a few cabins and this is my favorite one. I loved everything about it. It was absolutely amazing!

Bobbi’s house was a great spot for our family who was attending a wedding in pilot mountain. Very inviting and comfortable!

Our stay was very peaceful, private, and romantic! I enjoyed this Airbnb away from all distractions with my husband!

We loved the country setting. We liked the idea of our stay being pet friendly. It was very quiet out there. We would definitely book again when the time comes.
