Relaxing Redwood Retreat - King Suite

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Relax in our new studio apartment. Unwind in the large custom rainfall shower after a day of enjoying the beach or hiking the gorgeous trails in the Redwood Parks. Our full kitchen is the perfect space to make your favorite meals. Enjoy your favorite shows on the super comfy couch that can also sleep 2 guests. At the end of the day, you will have a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress for a great night's rest. Pets must be cat friendly.

Just a 3 mile drive to the beautiful Pacific ocean, walking distance to the serene Smith River, and <1 mile drive to beautiful swimming holes. Have fun with the whole family with hikes to the Redwood National Forest and come home to relax in our beautifully renovated log cabin/ home. Enjoy our deluxe linens , fully stocked kitchen, stocked fridge of our Alexandre Family Farm milk and eggs, hot tub, and quaint country views.

Ample parking ,2 min walk to Smith River,10 min drive to hiking trails & Redwood national Parks. 20 min drive to beach. Horseback riding nearby for both forest & beach rides (requires Res)

Explore old growth redwood stumps, watch birds and pollinators work in the sun, and close your eyes to absorb the sound of the waterfall at the pond. Pick fresh berries or fruit when it is in season, and enjoy soaking up the peace.

Smith River Retreat

Drive down the 300-foot driveway and enter a world of peace and tranquility. This newly and completely remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bath home sits on approximately 2 gorgeous acres. 5 minutes away from Jed Smith National Park which contains some of the most majestic Redwoods of all which is also a good place to access the river. Hike down Walker Rd. which takes you through a dense forest, then down alongside the river. A place that deserves a spot high on any bucket list.

Red Barn 5 mins to the River, Ocean & Redwoods!

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Located 3 miles from the pristine Smith River, Redwood National Park and the beach. Everything is there you might need during your stay. The barn is tastefully fully furnished with a well equipped kitchen in a country setting with outdoor seating, fire pit, hammocks and a gas grill for a relaxing getaway enjoying the outdoors. Beach chairs and beach towels are provided for your enjoyment.

Gayle's Garden Cottage

A tiny house cottage set in a garden amongst the redwoods, surrounded by rhodies, maples, birch and apple trees. Beautiful in all seasons. The cottage is foam insulated and thus very quiet for a good night's sleep. I use fragrance free detergent on linens. The queen bed (3 layers of high density memory foam mattresses) is in a loft, accessible by an angled loft ladder with handhold cutouts (not suitable for infants or children). Nema 14-50 plug available.

Fern Hook Vacation Cabins are located nearby Jedidiah Smith State Park in the tiny hamlet of Hiouchi, California. Indulge yourself in a private setting of magnificent redwoods carpeted with ferns. Our newly constructed cabins with full kitchens will provide deluxe accommodations while you enjoy this natural wonderland. We are pet friendly, but require a 30$ per pet fee, for each reservation.
