Enjoy total privacy in this wooded scene looking out over the neighbors cattle as well deer and turkey. Sitting on Bear Creek which is spring fed and a kayak is available to explore the creek for a small fee. Fire pit and Weber grill help round out your evenings pleasures. Enjoy Lucas racing and the lake season at Pomme de Terre! Fall is a great time to visit Southwest Missouri. Our cabin is close to Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland Boat Launch and Pomme de Terre Dam. Bennett Springs and Lake of the Ozarks are within an hour drive. There are walking trails, swimming beaches, and fishing areas. Walking distance to 254 Cafe and Triangle Convenience Store. Many other food options close by or prepare your own meal at our place. Stay on your own private acre.

The Highland Bin at Haywire Acres, Highland Cows

Welcome to our charming boho-inspired Grain Bin Cabin, the Highland is ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 smaller children. Upstairs, you'll find a comfortable king bed in the loft, while downstairs features a cozy futon in the main living space. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Full Bath with a walk-in shower downstairs. Experience a serene countryside getaway with breathtaking sunsets and peaceful surroundings, just moments away from Versailles.

Cozy Woodland Cottage

This cozy cottage in the woods (completed in June 2017) is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway, enjoying a honeymoon, or celebrating an anniversary. (The sofa is a full convertible bed, if others plan to share the 400+ sq. ft. space.) Located in the Lake Hill (formerly Shadow Lake) Golf Course neighborhood (course is currently closed) about a mile from the NW shores of beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake, and about 6 miles south of Lucas Oil Speedway.

Cabin at the Cove

Unplug and unwind at The Cabin at the Cove. This cabin is the ultimate get away, from the covered porch, fire pit and wood stove, to the scenic views and cozy interior. This log cabin has tin roofs and will not disappoint. This cabin is off the beaten road, but don’t worry, it has all the modern amenities. There is access to a private cove less than a half mile away where you can drop a boat in, fish, and swim. There is no WiFi in this cabin.

Another attraction is 8 miles away at Lucas Oil Speedway host to Boat Racing, Off-Road Racing, and Dirt Track Races most weekends April-Oct.

Located 8/10 of a mile from Hermitage Boat Access, we are minutes away from Lake Pomme De Terre beaches,campgrounds, grocery & convenient stores, antique shops, bowling alley & less than 20 minutes from 2 racetracks. Blacktop road to our driveway. This is a nice quite setting with plenty of space for parking your boat, sitting around the campfire or playing corn hole.
