Wheatland MO Lake Cottage

Enjoy Lucas racing and the lake at Pomme de Terre! October is a great time to visit SW Missouri. Many fall festivals are underway. Our cabin is close to Lucas Oil Speedway, Wheatland Boat Launch and the Dam. Bennett Springs and Lake of the Ozarks are within an hour drive. There are walking trails, swimming beaches, and fishing areas. Walking distance to 254 Cafe and Triangle Convenience Store. Other food options close by or prepare your own meal at our place. Stay on your own private acre.

This cozy cottage in the woods (completed in June 2017) is perfect for a couple seeking a romantic getaway, enjoying a honeymoon, or celebrating an anniversary. (The sofa is a full convertible bed, if others plan to share the 400+ sq. ft. space.) Located in the Lake Hill (formerly Shadow Lake) Golf Course neighborhood (course is currently closed) about a mile from the NW shores of beautiful Pomme de Terre Lake, and about 6 miles south of Lucas Oil Speedway.

Cabin at the Cove

Unplug and unwind at The Cabin at the Cove. This cabin is the ultimate get away, from the covered porch, fire pit and wood stove, to the scenic views and cozy interior. This log cabin has tin roofs and will not disappoint. This cabin is off the beaten road, but don’t worry, it has all the modern amenities. There is access to a private cove less than a half mile away where you can drop a boat in, fish, and swim. There is no WiFi in this cabin.

It's the perfect place to sit on the deck in the mornings for coffee - afternoons for laying out - and evening dinners with your glass of wine and closest friends or family.

Located 8/10 of a mile from Hermitage Boat Access, we are minutes away from Lake Pomme De Terre beaches,campgrounds, grocery & convenient stores, antique shops, bowling alley & less than 20 minutes from 2 racetracks. Blacktop road to our driveway. This is a nice quite setting with plenty of space for parking your boat, sitting around the campfire or playing corn hole.
