Gandara : locations de vacances dans des chalets

We had a fantastic holiday at the chalet. We were received our first day with a lovely greeting and meal and I noticed right away how clean the chalet was. The location is great, lots of cool little restaurants within a few minutes on tuk tuk. I would recommend Crust for dinner and Cactus for breakfast. Amazing food and views. We spent most of our beach days in Weligama, which is about 10 min ride on a tuk tuk. Sonali was very responsive to our needs and wishes. The staff at the chalet were helpful and charming. Would recommend, especially nice with a family and kids.

Nisha is a shining STAR,he's the best host in Sri Lanka, extremely helpful, doing the extra mile to assist you, guest house in a jungle paradise garden,rooms equipped with hot water, air conditioning and all the amenities needed, amazing cleanliness, delicious food made by his family,stunning environment around with the most beautiful beaches in the whole island up to 5 minutes by tuktuk(Nisha's one), nearest beautiful beach one minute walking distance.Book with closed eyes, i will come back!

We spent two nights at Nipuna's spacious and modern chalet in Galle. The place has so much character and is completely unlike any other place we stayed in Sri Lanka. The hospitality was wonderful, and the whole place itself just great. We didn't mind being remote (as we knew this would be the case), and enjoyed being a bit excluded from the city life of Galle while we were staying here. The food was delicious and all the staff were wonderful. We especially enjoyed chatting with Nipuna - we're glad he found time to sit down and talk to us for a bit. After all, that's what makes Airbnb different :) Would recommend to anyone who's looking for something a bit more different, and is OK with some wildlife around the house ;)

Aziz and his family were extremely hospitable, making the stay great and memorable. Aziz was very good at communicating before check in and his family were very generous in suggestions about activities and transport options in the area. The accommodation is very well located right within the fort. Very happy to recommend this place.

Wir hatten das Glück, bei Damith in seiner idyllischen Blockhütte zu übernachten – eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Der Ort ist perfekt zum Entspannen inmitten der Natur. Damith war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Jeden Morgen bereitete er uns ein köstliches Frühstück zu, und zu einem Geburtstag organisierte er ein festliches Abendessen samt liebevoller Dekoration. Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass wir in seinem Garten einen Baum pflanzen durften. Der große Garten bietet viel Platz, und Hund Romi sowie die Enten Black & White machten den Aufenthalt noch besonderer. Damith unterstützte uns beim Mieten eines Scooters und beim Geldwechsel. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gab es in der Nähe. Die Anreise mit dem lokalen Bus war unkompliziert, von der Busstation zur Villa Ovita sind es nur 700 Meter. Ob zum Arbeiten mit stabilem Internet oder zum Entspannen – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank lieber Damith.
