The Mountain House

Perched atop Mount Pisgah, this 4-bedroom family home offers a grand foyer leading to rooms on the 2nd floor with king bed and bath, guest room with 2 twin beds, guest room with queen bed, and nursery with twin bed and pack/play crib. The main floor has an eat-in kitchen and dining room with solarium. The spacious family room has a piano. Surrounded by woods, the mountain house is private and quiet. Our family has cherished this home for almost 40 years, and we are pleased to share it with you.

The cottage is less than a mile from Crump 'N Fox Golf; 2 miles from Northfield Mount Hermon; 10 minutes from Greenfield & Stoneleigh Burnham; 15 min to Brattleboro, Deerfield Academy, Bement & Eaglebrook; 20 min to UMass, Amherst & Northampton; 30 minutes to Keene NH & Shelburne Falls and 45 min to the Basketball Hall of fame in Springfield & Mt Snow VT.

Newly built A-Frame getaway cabin built in the middle of the woods of Vermont. Unplug from it all at this special space surrounded by nature. Enjoy doing yoga and relaxing on the deck, remote working with fiber optic wifi, utilizing the fire pit to roast smores, or taking a walk around the walking paths on the property! There are also nearby hikes, swimming spots, skiing destinations, and drinking/eating spots! We are 35-40 minutes from Stratton, Mount Snow, Bromley, Okemo, and Magic Mountain!

Enjoy a peaceful stay in this cozy, creative space. Set on 10 acres of gardens and woods, this cottage is perfectly located to explore Western Massachusetts - with places like MASS MoCA, Shelburne Falls, Tanglewood and Northampton all within a 30min to 1 hour drive. Upstairs is a queen bed and full bath, while downstairs features a functional kitchen, work desk, grand windows, and a living space with full sleeper sofa. We live in the main house on property but respect your privacy-see photos!

This cabin retreat is situated on a natural clearing in the beautiful Green Mt. Forrest. Surrounded by a dense grove of spruce trees gives you complete privacy. It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

We provide potable water from our well. Outdoor shower with on-demand hot water. Simple outhouse with sawdust composting system is clean and convenient.

Located on a quiet and safe street yet close local restaurants and coffee shops. Easy hikes with great views like Poet Seat Tower and Highland Park. Also close to Deerfield Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon, The Bement School, Eaglebrook Schoool and Stonleigh-Burnham School.
