Grindelwald Top/Europe, Eiger views

The location of this Chalet is absolutely unique. It is next to the Männlichen Cable Car, and to the Grund Trainstation (train to Grindelwald and to Top of Europe). You can arrive easily without a car. The appartment itself is completely equipped, it has a modern and completely equipped kitchen, and a beautiful green yard (120 m2) with a sitting place with chairs and table and a terrace with amazing views of the Eiger Nordwand. There are three bedrooms; two with double beds (one of which has a flat screen TV), one with a comfortable bunk bed, an independent kitchen with a table where you can take a meal, and a living room with a huge flat screen TV, an extensible sofa (good sleeping quality), and a dining table. There is free Wifi and satellite TV in the whole house. In the bathroom, you have a big shower with low entrance. There are two toilets. In addition to the appartment, you have access to a ski depot at the side of the house, with boot warmers which dry your equipment and keep your boots warm for the next morning! In front of the house, there is a private playground with swings ; next to it, you can enjoy your kids and the views on a holywood swing and a wooden bank. The apartment is perfect for cooking your own meals, with an oven, a microwave, a vitroceram cooking area, a dishwasher, and a fridge with a freezer. There is a fondue set, a pressure cooker, a rice cooker, many pans and pots, and basic ingredients like salt, sugar, oil and vinegar. There is also a toaster and an ESPRESSO coffee machine ( capsulas, available in the village in the big Coop store in a special aisle - and we normally leave some capsulas for you to be able to have coffee immediately or the morning after!). The beds are of course freshly made with beautiful linen, and every guest receives bath towels. There is shower gel and shampoo in the shower, and soap both for hands and dishes in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Please enjoy the tap water, as it comes directly from the mountains - no need to buy any, or to boil it! The apartment also has its own washing machine with a drying function. We provide washing powder/liquid for your convenience.

Chalet Belle Hélène for a perfect week in the Alps

Chalet Belle Hélène is located at the bottom of the Aletch glacier (Aletsch Arena). Close to the gondola, so you can enjoy skiing with the whole family in the winter and fantastic hikes (also in the high mountains) in the summer. The chalet is located on the main road in the Rhone Valley, and is therefore easily accessible by car. From the train station it is about a 10-minute walk. In the area you can also go mountain biking, ride passes (Furka, Nufenen, Grimsel, Gotthard). Plenty to do.

Vom gebührenpflichtigen öffentlichen Parkplatz aus ist die Wohnung in 2 Gehminuten erreichbar. Das Dorf Betten liegt am Südhang des Aletschgebietes auf einer Sonnenterrasse rund 1200 Meter über Meer. Die Ortschaft Bettmeralp und die Skipisten der Aletscharena sind in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Betten ist zudem idealer Ausgangsort für Wanderungen und Tagesausflüge im Oberwallis.

Situé à 1400 mètres d'altitude, tu as une vue panoramique de rêve sur les montagnes, la vallée en dessous de toi et une vue dégagée sur le Cervin. En hiver, tu peux faire des raquettes, de la luge ou construire un igloo à l'écart de l'agitation des pistes et pourtant à 25 minutes du domaine skiable. Au printemps, c'est une super région de randonnée ...

Quiet location! Great view! Enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The apartment is on the upper floor of our 3-family house. We live right downstairs. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the village, which you can reach in a 15-minute walk. The bus stop is about 100m away. The access is steep and can only be accessed with a 4x4 plus snow chains when there is snow. However, in winter there will be a parking space available at the bottom of the Terrassenweg.

The 2nd floor flat is in Haus Bergfreunde next to the gondola Moosfluh that takes you to the best viewpoint of the Aletsch Glacier. In winter, ski slopes run in front of our door and it is the ideal starting point to the ski slopes of the Aletsch area. It is easily reachable from the Riederalp Mitte cable car and Coop Supermarket, both around a 9-minute walk and just 4 minutes from the ski school meeting point, and the trainer lift.
