A unique feature of this location is a walking track through our working farm to The Olive View Restaurant, with great food and amazing coffee. In keeping with minimum impact on the environment, it contains a composting toilet.

The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years. The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. Where native grasslands stretch to the horizon, a river meanders its way gently between ancient hills and where a billion stars blaze at midnight. It's a place to unwind, relax and explore.

Our Very Comfortable Granny Flat is at the back of our main limestone fronted house. It is very private, has a enclosed courtyard and is walking distance to restaurants and cafes in Yass town. We are really just over the road from the Yass River and there are plenty of picturesque walking paths along the river. There are also other facilities close by including a dog park, swimming pool children's playground.
