Having lived in many different places, I understand how important and difficult it is to find a clean, tidy, spacious and good design place to relax. We explored every corner of Skye and were fortunate to find a special location with the best view in the best part of Skye (My guests described Ardtreck as special! Ardtreck's location sometimes offers incredible views that you won't find anywhere else (including Skye). So we designed and built Ardtreck. The main characteristics of Ardtreck are:

This secluded luxury getaway boasts 2 kingsize bedrooms, shower room, games room and kitchen/living room, with world class views over the loch to the Cuillin Hills, Talisker cliffs and Isle of Rhum. This shore front property offers a private garden and parking as well as direct access to shore and walks. Great for watching local wildlife. This is a self catering accommodation and the kitchen is stocked with all cooking facilities as well as some basic food, so on arrival you can just relax.

Head In The Skye - Dramatic Sea View at Healabhal

Healabhal Cottage is tucked away in the most scenic corner of Skye. It offers the perfect mix of a secluded spot with an unbeatable view over the sea, while being easy and short distances to so many amazing sights, and restaurants, (including three Chimneys & dunvegan). Healabhal is the perfect spot to enjoy everything that Skye has to offer. Enjoy our open living home, with a log fire. We understand that dogs are a member of the family, so we are dog friendly for up to 2 well behaved dogs.

Near Byre @ 20 Lochbay (Self-Catering )

Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. Red Mountain Garden Cottage (Self Catering)

Sorry - Children over 10 only. Red Mountain Cottage is beautifully and quietly situated on the edge of Carbost village, with stunning views overlooking Loch Harport and towards the Cuillin Mountains. This is a small, modern, but very well appointed cottage/cabin has been lovingly created to a high specification, including handmade beds and sills & a feature wall. The cottage sleeps 3, but is ideal for couples seeking a romantic break, as well as for sight-seeing, walking and climbing.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Modern & spacious, fully-equipped 2 bed bungalow

Recently renovated Cabin Cùil boasts stunning views over the Cuillin mountain range and Loch Harport. Situated in the idyllic township of Carbost, the Fairy Pools and Talisker Distillery are within a 10 minute drive with Portree just 25 minutes away. From the house, you can take a lovely coastal walk along the shores of Loch Harport. There's lots of places to eat nearby, including Café Cùil, The Old Inn & the Oyster Shed. Or enjoy a cosy night in beside the new wood burning stove!

Secluded cabin, North West Skye - Bolvean Beag

Scottish Short Term Lets Licence No; HI-30071-F Bolvean Beag is a unique self catering wooden cabin. The cabin has a light and airy feel: there is a large window with a pastoral view, the other 3 windows in cabin have midge screens when you need them. There is spacious secluded decking surrounded by wild woodland flowers and trees. There is 1 super king bed downstairs which takes up the whole of the bedroom space. Storage space in small loft if required, accessed via ladder.

Malky's Suite

Taigh Malky is one of two self-contained suites in the property and comprises of a double bedroom, kitchen/living space with a picture window looking onto a stunning view of Loch Roag with the Cuillin mountain range behind. It allows you sanctuary and peace to continue to enjoy the beauty of Skye, after a day of exploring the island. Self catering bungalow, ‘Crab Cottage’

Crab Cottage provides a comfy place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of the Isle of Skye. This detached, self-catering bungalow for two is situated in a crofting community. The cottage is near and above the road but shielded by bushes and visitors have said the noise is minimal. Our own house and static caravan are next to the cottage. We live with an elderly collie mix dog called Boots and 4 chickens (who live in a separate fenced off area).

The Tin House @ Papillon

The Tin House is our modern take on a traditional highland bothy. A spacious, open plan living /sleeping space offers all the home comforts you would expect, Large picture windows create a bright space with stunning views over the loch to the mountains. A Deck with locally crafted Adirondack chairs make the perfect place to watch the local wildlife or sit out under our spectacular night sky during the darker nights. Towels and bed linen are included.

Beautiful Two Bedroom House Breathtaking Views

Beams, Geary is a cosy renovated house located in the Waternish Peninsula of North West Skye. Beams is the perfect house for all couples, families and friends, offering spectacular panoramic views. EV Charger also available! Guests can take advantage of an open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas, and a comfortable Main Bedroom. The upstairs open mezzanine has two single beds. A second full bathroom can also be found within the property.
