Historical Water Tower Montabaur

Built in 1879, the listed water tower in Montabaur offers a special and cosy ambience. In a prime location in Montabaur, between the ICE train station and the old town, pretty much everything the city has to offer is within walking distance. The tower is historically preserved, but still offers many modern amenities. Around 1990, it was completely renovated and converted into living space. In 2023 it was renovated with a new bathroom. Die helle, modern eingerichtete, ruhige und gemütliche Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss gelegen, somit sehr gut zugänglich und bietet alles was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in der schönen Stadt Montabaur benötigt. Unmittelbar neben der Wohnung liegt ein Supermarkt (Penny) und ein Suppenimbiss. Das FOC (Fashion Outlet Center) ist 800m (11 Gehminuten) entfernt, ebenso wie ICE-Bahnhof. Auch Montabaurs wunderschöne, historische Altstadt lässt sich innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß bequem erreichen.

An unique tranquil living space can comfortably accomodate 2-7 persons. Furnishings include queen size beds, bright pool room and an inviting bar. Glass doors open up onto wooden terraces and a koi pond. An adjacent grill under a vine-covered pergola overlooks a large (1400sqm) well-kept garden. It has a private entrance with ample parking. We live on the top floor of the house, but we give our guests their space and guests have most of the garden to themselves. Easily accessible from the A3.

Natur pur! Ihr wohnt in einem alten Bahnhof direkt an Wander- und Radwegen. Die absolute Ruhe (fast) ohne Nachbarn. Auf den Schienen passieren 3x täglich langsam fahrende Güterzüge. Am Wochenende liegen sie still - dann kann man dort Rehe oder auch mal einen Fuchs beobachten. Die Wohnung liegt im ehemaligen Lokschuppen des Bahnhofs und ist stylisch/individuell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Sie steht nach Komplettsanierung des Gebäudes jetzt erstmalig zur Verfügung.
