Kimber’s place was as described ! Peaceful and the scenery and views were great! Close to all stores and only 20 min from China peak mountain! The place was comfortable and felt right at home . She was very responsive and answered all my questions as needed ! Will be booking again in near future ! Thank you kimber !

We absolutely loved our stay at Jack’s cabin in shaver Lake! They truly have everything you need and always very responsive to any questions! Being a host myself for many years I appreciate the little things and Jack’s Cabin definitely didn’t disappoint and we can’t wait to come back again!

This location was surprisingly more spacious than the photos posted and it came with A LOT of accommodations. These host really put a lot of thought and heart into making this place a perfect stay. Janet kindly and briefly welcomed us when we first arrived. There’s a wall separating the guest homes outside dining, jacuzzi, bbq, fire pit and bird watching area from the main home, so it’s plenty private! We definitely recommend this stay and would visit again.

We had a great stay at this mountain cabin! The place was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views were absolutely stunning—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The host was very responsive and helpful, though at times it felt like I might’ve been communicating with more than one person, which got a bit confusing. A couple of things to note (not complaints, just observations for future guests): the light switches are a bit quirky and took some getting used to, the beds are very soft (which some might love), and the couches are quite firm. Also, it was definitely a bit tricky to find the place at night, so I’d recommend arriving while it’s still daylight if possible. Overall, a beautiful and relaxing spot—I’d recommend it!

The perfect blend of a natural setting with tastefully designed space. This place hits the sweet spot where rustic and upscale meet, and does so in a gorgeous riverfront location. The hosts go the distance, from answering question, providing information and suggestions to anticipating guests' needs. Couldn't be happier with our stay.

We loved the home. Extremely cozy and well maintained. It was great having a stocked kitchen, having a slow cooker came in handy after a day full of sledding. Looking forward to staying here again!

Our week-long stay this April was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to our outstanding host. They were exceptionally friendly, incredibly responsive (often replying within minutes!), and proactively reached out to ensure everything was fine. Their thoughtfulness regarding guest needs and flexibility with arrangements were greatly appreciated. We loved the complimentary coffee selection and tasty snacks – a very nice, welcoming touch! The property itself was sparkling clean and offered profound quiet. Nestled deep within a serene, peaceful forest, it felt like a true escape from the noise and bustle of the nearby town, providing exactly the tranquil atmosphere we desired. The vibe was calm and welcoming. Just a heads-up for future guests: if you plan to use the sofa bed, remember to request it specifically when booking, as it needs to be set up by the host. We highly recommend this tranquil forest gem for a truly relaxing and restorative retreat!

Beautiful cabin! We stayed during Christmas time there was a tree with lights and decor which made our stay so special. There is a lot of space, very clean and over all a warm comfy space. Any questions we had the host responded right away and would also check in to make sure our stay was going good. Will definitely be coming back!

We lived the views at this cabin in the trees! It was comfy and quiet and wonderful! The stairs are a bit steep so for a lengthy stay keep that in mind but we enjoyed the fishing from the dock, the sunsets were incredible and the boat was responsive and helpful. Not for anyone with knee injuries due to the stairs, but for the views… this place is totally worth it! We would love to stay again!

Lisa’s cabin was absolutely perfect for a quick, peaceful family getaway. It is even cozier and nicer than the photos suggest! We arrived in the evening and Lisa was great about giving us clear check in instructions. We made smores by the fire and woke up to a magnificent view on a crisp mountain morning. I was thankful Lisa mentioned the waffle maker — I brought ingredients for waffles and it was my first time making them. My kids loved them! We took family walks around Camp Nelson and saw Soda Springs, then went all the way to Nelson trailhead which is also walking distance from the cabin. One thing I would tell future guests is to bring groceries, bc the two general stores nearby weren’t well stocked when we visited in April (maybe they are during high tourist season?). That said, we appreciated the cabin had a lot of essentials including coffee beans and a grinder. We would absolutely return. Thanks for being a lovely host, Lisa!

Nancy's cabin was so lovely! The perfect spot to explore Kings Canyon and Sequoia from. There were so many lovely personal touches, and we loved waking up to the cows and horses outside the cabin in the mornings. Would love to return, and would highly recommend staying here!

It was an amazing place to get away for a couple of days. I will definitely come back when I get the chance. Both hosts are very sweet and amazing. They took us in very last minute due to an unseen problem with our previous selection. They had everything ready in such a little time frame for us. Definitely recommend this place!!!

It’s a very unique place on the top of the hill. Nice view with a lot of space and activities for inside and outside. Farms around the property. sometime the cows will block the road.

Unbelievable setting right inside the national park! Convenient to all the key sites. Heather was great, super responsive and proactive with instructions. Cabin is a gem! Very well appointed.

Loved our stay at Greg’s place! Had all we needed for a family of four, areas of the home are well thought out! Just enough snow near the home for the kiddos to stay busy for hours, plus a porch area and grill! Perfection!

Katherine’s place was the perfect stay while exploring Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks! The directions to get there were clear and easy to follow and check in was super simple. The place was perfect and exactly as described. It was the perfect size for me, my husband, and our dog. There is a local restaurant within walking distance for dinner, and the cabin is only about 30 mins to the entrance of King’s canyon. Katherine was super helpful and responsive when we asked a question. We loved staying here for our little vacation and would definitely come back!

This was a great value for a place that’s less than an hour from Yosemite’s South Gate. I did not expect it to be so hot out there, but that’s on me for not doing my homework. Thankfully the little window a/c unit kept the unit tolerable in mid July heat.

The cabin was very cozy and it was a great house to stay in for the weekend! It was very clean and peaceful but also had all the essentials we needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to relax and be close to Shaver lake.

This is an excellent home. It has everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels in the bathroom, lots of extra blankets, board games, toys for kids, and more. It was probably our favorite rental we’ve stayed at. It’s close to town, but on a quiet street and far enough out that it is extremely quiet and peaceful outside. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and it’s not a far drive to the son-parks, lakes, and hiking trails. The host is prompt in the replies to messages and has very easy to follow and reasonable rules for the house. We loved our time here and plan on trying to stay again next time we visit town!

Beautiful spacious cabin. Has everything you need for your stay. Kitchen is fully equipped. Rooms and bathrooms had everything. Plenty of extra blankets and towels. Super quiet neighborhood. We were lucky and found snow right in the back and it was perfect for the kids to play. Stores are about a 5-10 minute drive. About 20minutes to shaver lake. Host was very quick to respond with questions I had. Will definitely be booking here again.
