Such a cute, peaceful place with great hosts! If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away this is a great choice. There isn’t much to do near the cottage but with a hot tub, wifi, tv, and a kitchen we didn’t need anything else! The kitchen was stocked with some snacks & the host made us a delicious breakfast casserole as well. We will be back one day in the summer so we can enjoy the kayaks and lake more. Highly recommend 🩷

We had a great stay. Everything was clean, and it was the perfect place just to get away for the weekend.

This was such an amazing little getaway. It was in a cozy cabin with all the amenities you could ask for. The hot tub was definitely the highlight, but the pool table and shuffleboard were huge pluses. We spent the day in Hermann, which was only about a 30-minute drive, and this was a perfect place to come to after a busy day. I would stay again if I were in the area.

Great place for a weekend getaway Very private and peaceful. Close to Ha Ha Tonka state my family and I did a couple of trails while we were there!

My boyfriend and I stayed in Toby's cabin for our anniversary. We loved how secluded it was but also easily walkable. Scenery was amazing. Toby also had lots of amenities, grill, fire pit, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen utensils. I was surprised at how little we needed to bring to have a good time. Toby and his mother made us feel right at home and responded to us quickly and kindly throughout the trip.

We had a large group and the place was perfect for what we needed! Look forward to visiting again next time we are in Steelville to float!

Absolutely loved this place!! We booked dogwood cabin last minute and were very happy with our experience. Very, clean and plenty of room. Jessica was also very helpful and responsive!

This place is incredible! If you love wildlife and a private setting, this is the place for you. The host is extremely welcoming and responsive. The house was exactly as listed. We spent our time paddle boarding around the private lake and watching wildlife. I wish I was there now.

This cabin far exceeded our expectations – from the decor to all of the clearly thought out details it was truly stunning. There was absolutely nothing lacking. The location is beautiful and exactly as described. The only downfall to this cabin is that when lake levels are low there is no water underneath the dock, so fishing is not possible- but this is stated in the description of the cabin so we were prepared for that possibility. Also we were able to drive to a public fishing area very easily. If fishing is not your thing there are other things to do such as wandering the creeks for arrowheads, enjoying the beautiful fire pit and dock area, and even just relaxing on the front porch and enjoying the wildlife – the host had kindly filled the hummingbird feeder before our arrival and hummingbirds were fluttering around the front porch every evening. this cabin truly feels like a home away from home and we will definitely be back many times. Honestly, I’m not sure who enjoyed this place more us or our dog! I think our pup will now sleep for 2 days after spending 3 nights at Adam’s place. We had such a great time! Perfect location and literally feet from the water. Neighborhood was friendly and Adam was responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

This was an amazing stay to celebrate my daughter's wedding. The cabin is beautiful, had very well-stocked amenities and supplies, and plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the lovely location.

Impressed! This cabin is SQUEAKY CLEAN, comfy bed, big bathroom, cute decor & homey! Right off the interstate- easy to find, parking right next to cabin and the view of horses out back window! Keurig with yummy creamer, snacks and bottled water. THIS airbnb is what all owners should strive to be! Thank You!

William's stay was very cozy! It looked just like the pictures. We had a little trouble finding it, but the people in the town were very friendly and helped us locate it. It was clean and it was comfortable. It had everything we needed for a quick stay. William was quick to respond on this last minute reservation. I really appreciated that. The bar next door has really good food and the people there are very friendly also. I would recommend this place!

This was a great place for our family to get together. It is very remote, but easy to get to. We loved the peacefulness there. Beds were comfortable and the place was neat. Would return!

We had a very nice stay in this cozy little house. The property itself was really cool--do yourself a favor and wander around the yard to see all the folk art and hand-built outdoor features.

We had a wonderful stay during my graduation ceremony at Columbia College. I traveled with my husband and friends—there were five of us in total—and the house was absolutely perfect for our group. It was spotlessly clean, well-organized, and had all the basic amenities we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and tidy, and we especially enjoyed spending time on the patio, which was a great spot to relax. Everything was exactly as described, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Five stars all the way—highly recommend!

Patty was an absolute delight to work with. She reached out the same day we booked the cabin to welcome us. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. She left us a gift basket for our anniversary with a note. There was also a binder filled with all the local restaurants and things to do. The cabin was private and peaceful. My husband even made a fire. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. From waking up and having coffee on the screened porch to playing all day down by the dock, it was a perfect place for our group to stay.

What a great place to stay. Karen was a great host and even helped me get a spot in a slip for my boat. I will definitely be coming back.

Our second time staying at the bins and it was even better than the first. Clean and amazing property, great for hosting groups of friends especially if headed to any of the off-road parks in the area. Plenty of space for activities and room for the trailers as well. The host, Amanda, even left homemade cinnamon rolls which were delicious and very thoughtful. Not planning on ever staying elsewhere while in the area! Would recommend without hesitation and is worth every penny.

Alicia was an amazing host. We traveled from the St. Louis area and had no issues upon arrival. The particular weekend there was a storm coming in and Alicia reached out immediately informing us of access to safe shelter in the basement. Luckily there was no issues with weather and the stay was wonderful. The house is amazing from the views to the quality of the home. I would recommend staying here whether you plan to explore the area or just a getaway to retreat to a peaceful property!

Terryl’s place was perfect. We picked a great week to enjoy the beautiful weather, trees and quietness of her home. We loved hanging out on the spacious dock, the upstairs deck and the beautiful sun room. The dock was very spacious and had a large boat slip available for our use.
