We welcome hikers, nature lovers, those visiting friends or family or just wanting to enjoy the area's beautiful scenery and many artistic venues. I like to think of it as a peaceful sanctuary that we'd like to share with you.

Peaceful, romantic retreat in this stunningly large and magical barn. This 1850's historic remodeled barn apartment is nestled into hundrends of acres of Nature Conservency. Many old maple and pine trees, hiking trails and breathtaking views will welcome you along the the drive here. If you'd like to book a healing retreat I offer Reiki sessions to guests. It is located along the west river where every summer you can go tubing, swimming, or kayaking. Welcome to The Phineas Handerson House, originally built in 1827 by the “the happiest man in town” Able Wilder. Modern eclectic two-bedroom(no door on loft bedroom) apartment, just one block from Central Square in Downtown Keene. Featuring newly remodeled kitchen, fitted with electric range and microwave. Other tenants occupy part of the building, but guests have a private entrance and off-street parking behind the building. Comfortable for up to four guests. Pet friendly!

Swiss Chalet Family Retreat!

Welcome to our family's Swiss style chalet! Inspired by trips to Davos, Switzerland, my grandparents built the chalet in the 1950s to be a family playhouse and gathering spot for their 6 children. It's kind of magical. Today, our large extended family still enjoys holiday celebrations here every year. Our kids love exploring the woodland trails and swimming in Center Pond. We hope you love it as much as we do! Note: the building also has two apartments on the first floor.
