Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Huntingdon Tier Forest Retreat – atop a mountain in Tasmania's Southern Midlands. This luxurious, private & unimposing eco retreat is a place to escape, relax & reconnect. Soak in the woodfired hot tub & lounge by a warm fire or from your comfy bed, gaze through the treetops to the mountains beyond & observe local wildlife. Take a wander & enjoy a natural meditation cave just 30 metres below. Single night stays are welcomed, however guests often say they wish they had've stayed longer!

29 Ebden – Architectural Home in Hobart’s North

Perched atop a hill overlooking the Derwent River, the house features a large deck & outdoor wood fire pit, as well as a bath deck. Please note; 29 Ebden's bedrooms are double (queen) share. E.g., if you would like four bedrooms prepared for your stay please book for eight guests.

A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door in a new house, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach.

Excellent shopping opportunities within 5 kilometres; 45 minutes to Hobart: 1hour to airport; 20 minutes to Mount Field National Park. On farm produce available in season in an area of growing culinary endeavour.
