The house is only two blocks from the BART station, which is only 6 minutes away from UC Berkeley campus and half an hour from San Francisco. There’s also grocery stores, restaurants, coffee very close by in El Cerrito Plaza. This is a newly built, attached one bedroom in-law unit with private entrance in the quiet backyard. It offers absolutely privacy and is very bright, cozy, spacious. Shared laundry with us in the garage. Free Parking in the driveway. Safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Charming home centrally located in the Westbrae Berkeley neighborhood with local restaurant favorites, natural food markets, cafes and Solano Avenue all within walking distance. Easy access to local transit, freeway and conveniently located across from Ohlone bike trail & BART connecting much of the East Bay as well as a large open grass area featuring a ring of Redwoods and Codornices creek to explore. Your host family lives next door and will help you with anything you need during your stay.

La Casita

La Casita is situated in our back yard. It is on the 1st level of 4 (4th at street), so be prepared to use stairs. Although once arrived it is very peaceful and quiet. Downtown Berkeley is ~10-15 minute drive. El Cerrito Plaza Bart Station is a 6 minute drive. Solano Avenue (shops and restaurants) is a 5 minute drive (20 minute walk). Farmers Market every Sunday (10-2) is a 7 minute walk. We look forward to having you stay at our property and happy to answer any questions you may have.

Cozy backyard cottage in shared backyard with sunny patio for relaxing outside. Studio cottage is separate from house with a queen size bed, bathroom with shower, kitchenette and eating area. Everything you need to relax and make simple meals, including coffee and tea. One block from Solano Ave for restaurants and shopping, a few blocks walking from whole foods and more restaurants. Near Bart and one block from bus stop to SF. Hiking in Tilden Park or Wildcat canyon just 10 min drive.
