We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Special local attractions include Upperchurch loop walks, The Kilcommon Pilgram Loop walk, and the Kilcommon prayer garden.

We are conveniently located, only 3 km's from Junction 26 on the M7 motorway. The self catering apartment is located over the garage and separate from the main house with its own private entrance and is accessed by stairs. There are lots of activities to enjoy in the area, hiking, kayaking and various other water sports. There are many excellent golf courses close by.
