The Chalet at Trankwil is a little slice of peace and tranquility nestled in the beautiful village of St.Margarets. The Chalet has a small seating area, modern bathroom and kitchen including microwave oven, Fridge/ freezer & tea and coffee facilities. This has been a real labour of love and we have tried to make it a unique reflection of our taste! Self check in & out. Free parking onsite. It is a short walk to Minnis Bay where you can enjoy beach life, then good food and wine while you watch the stunning sunset at The Minnis. We welcome couples, singles, business travellers, cyclists, watersport enthusiasts walkers, and families.

The historic towns of Rye & Hastings are within walking distance, or a bus ride away, running hourly. There are 2 local pubs in Pett village, which can be reached by a 5 min drive or half-hour walk. 'Highfields lodge' is part of the beautiful grounds of 'Highfields' which includes 'Highfields house'. The log cabin type building is perfectly situated on the Romney marsh alongside the famous "Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway'. The space is quiet, quaint and quirky and is built by myself. The Lodge is a perfect peaceful retreat full of idilic countryside, wild untouched landscape views with nature surrounding the area. Ideal for a romantic getaway or small family holiday.

THE CHALET IS UNDERGOING A REFURBISHMENT SO NEW PHOTOS WILL BE ADDED ONCE COMPLETED. THE INSIDE HAS BEEN FULLY REFURBISHED BUT THE OUTSIDE WILL BE FINISHED SOON. The property boasts stunning sea views and is a true paradise for birdwatchers. While using binoculars to observe the diverse birdlife, you might even spot seals if you scan the sea. Breathe in the invigorating sea air and enjoy a daily swim to awaken your senses!
