Welcome to Maddiesons. Come and relax and explore White Cliffs Country. It has its own private garden with amazing views, set within the grounds of our home surrounded by the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and National Trust Area. On the doorstep there are stunning coastal path walks along the White Cliffs of Dover - St. Margarets Bay beach - South Foreland Lighthouse and a national cycle route. An ideal base to explore White Cliffs Country and its surrounding areas.

Spectacular BEACH VIEW chalet on the cliff

Set on the white clifftops over looking Kingsdown private beach with far reaching views; This Scandinavian style chalet is both quirky and unique. The back decking is Perfectly positioned on the cliff edge allowing for a perfect place to relax and soak up the sounds and view of the sea. Kingsdown is a pretty village with its beach framed by the magnificent white cliffs of Dover; offering wonderful clifftop walks. There is also a promenade taking you along the seafront directly into Deal.

Nestled in the beautiful Kent countryside lies 'Hazy Fields'. A rustic shepherds hut with private hot tub for two, located next to our wildlife enriched pond, and surrounding fields. This really is a place to relax, soak up the relaxed atmosphere, gaze up at the stars and enjoy that well deserved break away. Situated between the medieval town of Sandwich and seaside coast of Deal within a 10 minute drive each way. Canterbury just 20 minutes further, there is plenty to see whilst away.

Super cozy stilted luxury cabin with ‘hotsprings’ hot tub set in a garden dominated by Palms, Bamboos, Tree Ferns and other exotic planting creating a Jungle feel. Being hand built by the owner, this space really is a absolute one off. Everyone that visits, remarks that they ‘feel like there abroad’. A gorgeous kitchen sits adjacent to the lounge with 1 of 2 log burners. The bathroom has an extremely ‘high end’ feel to it. The lower level reveals an enormous hand crafted 4 poster bed.

Woodsmoke Studio: Boho country retreat

Relax and unwind in this artist-run bohemian retreat. Tucked away in the village of Preston, surrounded by countryside, you'll enjoy a peaceful 'get-away' within easy reach of local amenities and Kent's stunning coastline. The studio is blissfully quiet, set back from the cottage with its own entrance under a vine-covered pergola, with views to a large garden. Views over pretty peaceful allotments, free on street parking & 1 small dog welcome. Short walk to Deal or Walmer castle and Deal high street with amazing restaurants, pubs, wine bars, art galleries, Saturday morning foodie market, & great transport links to other nearby seaside towns in Kent. You could even bus to Dover & hop a Ferry to France.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Lovely cosy cottage ideal for a couples getaway from it all. The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Deal town is about 10 mins drive away and has a wealth of shops and restaurants. Great market on Saturdays

Peaceful location with great walks along the coast. Self contained studio with private entrance, drive and garden. Close to Canterbury, Deal and Dover to visit and explore their historic attractions. Easy access to ferry crossing and Le Shuttle for France and high speed rail to London in approximately 1 hour. Walking distance to picturesque village of St. Margaret’s at Cliffe in an AONB. It has two local pubs serving food with a convenience store and post office.

Located 5 minutes walk away from the White Cliffs of Dover, the granary is a converted timber frame building set in the garden of a 16th century Kentish farmhouse and 1 km away from the beautiful seaside village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe. 'Stones Throw' Our treasured cottage by the sea

Welcome to our much loved cottage, literally 'a stone's throw' from the sea. We have made so many magical memories here and we want to share our experience by opening up our home to guests. Perfectly set up for a family holiday our cottage is on a small lane with a pub at either end. Cosy and comfortable we have put much love into creating this home.
