The Overwater Bungalow at Sundance

Beach homes are fun, but take things a step further and immerse yourself with 270-degree views of the fjord at this historic boat house. A secret passageway leads to a speak-easy-style bedroom, and then down to a private hot tub where you can soak while watching the sun set over Olympic National Park. Big Beef Spit is a five-minute walk away. A neighboring guest house and caretaker’s cottage are also both available for rent. **Please note that the loft bedroom gets chilly during cold weather.

Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. From the provided kayak, SUP, yard games, an abundance of board games, and fun aviation décor this house will sure to keep the whole family entertained! The waterfront backyard provides constantly changing serene views as the tides fluctuate through the day!

Outdoor amenities abound, with a pickleball court, 2 paddleboards, rowboat, & firepits at the beach & lagoon. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour drive to Olympic National Park, or watch for porpoises, otters and the resident bald eagles from the couch.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees.
