Sandpiper is located on the idyllic Solway estuary, metres from the water's edge, surrounded by the renowned RSPB Campfield Marsh, an unique wetland of raised peat bogs, marshes and ponds, A haven for a huge variety of bird life, shoreline waders to geese to owls and woodpeckers. Located amid Low Abbey's woodland, rich with narcissi and bluebells in the spring, adjacent to the old damson orchard, at the end of Hadrian's Wall. The hut is set in the middle of a family farm, forget about your busy lives and sit back and relax in this peaceful location ideal for a romantic retreat, with views up the Lorton valley ,cozy up into front of the wood burning stove and plan your adventure for the next day. The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

Spend a night in Hardraw, in the Yorkshire Dales. This wonderfully crafted shepherds hut is located on a working farm, with sheep, cattle, hens and pigs. Also, home to the local working sheepdog demonstration team. Located in a small village on the Pennine Way; the renowned Hardraw force, England's highest waterfall is a 5 minute stroll. The Green Dragon Inn is less than 5 minutes walk. The small market town of Hawes is a 20 minute walk, with plenty of shops and pubs.
