Welcome to our cottage on the lake! We renovated this home through the spring of '18 and are so thrilled to have it ready for you! Sitting less than 30-feet from the sandy bottom of Bass Lake, this house is a charmer in all seasons. In the winter months, enjoy snowshoeing across the lake and come home to a cozy fire. It is completely stocked with dishes, cookware, gas grill, beach chairs, towels, wifi, fire pit etc… Tucked away overlooking the pond, it’s a perfect place to relax after a day of activity. An easy 20 minutes to Traverse City where you can go to the beach, shop or enjoy many excellent restaurants. Higgins Lake getaway

Our little getaway just under an acre & offers plenty of room for tents, boats & toys. 1st floor bdrm has a queen bed w/window air unit, loft has full bed & full futon w/window air unit, we remove units in the cooler months. bathroom has tub/shower, & kitchen has full amenities. Cabin accommodates 6+ people. Our cabin is a great place whether you are coming up to enjoy the lake, Mackinaw Island, Traverse City, the Fall color tours, hunting, or winter activities.

Close to a 4-season recreation and great downtown experiences, such as boating, waterskiing, fishing, hiking, shopping, dining or downhill skiing to name a few. Sleeps up to 6 adults or 4 adults and 3 kids. Walk across the road for access to pleasant lake beach. Drive 40 minutes to Traverse city or 5-10 minutes to any area in Cadillac.
