Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

Be a part of the solution in our centrally located solar home that sits on a safe and quiet street just a walk, ride, or drive from downtown Pittsfield! Warm up your day on the screened-in sun porch. Warm up your toes on the heated tile floors! Enjoy custom concrete counters and wood floors in this open kitchen concept. Grill out on the rear patio while your dogs roam in the enclosed backyard. Hiking trails abound and playgrounds are just a stroll away. We are emissions free! How cool is that?!

Ski at Historic Stone Church in The Berkshires

<b>Hinterland Hall</b> was built in 1836 by the Saint Luke's Episcopal Parish and joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. Ripe with history and impeccable beauty, Ian & Jane purchased the old stone church in May of 2021, completing an extensive restoration process in accordance with the Massachusetts Historical Commission. Stone School Cottage

Romantic getaway or family vacation. Charming stone building served as a one-room schoolhouse from 1832 until 1950. Beautifully situated amidst horse farms on the scenic road to Mt Greylock, centrally located midway between Williamstown and Lenox. We host lots of writers and musicians who love the bright airy space, families that have fun in this big playhouse, and couples seeking a memorable and private retreat. PLEASE NOTE: this truly-unique building has an unusual layout, described below.

Just Be Cabin

Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.

Cozy Rustic Apt. in 18th c. Berkshire Farmhouse

This cozy rustic studio is located at the base of Mount Greylock and a 6 minute drive from Jiminy Peak ski resort. Built in the 1700’s, this centuries old farmhouse has since been converted into four separate cute suites. Newly updated kitchen, bathroom and furniture. Enjoy exploring the sprawling 19 acre property you will be staying on which includes seasonal flower fields, thousands of berry bushes, fruit trees, creek, and walking trails full of wildlife. The Beer Diviner Brewery Apartment

The apartment is entire upstairs of back of our farm brewery & taproom. Open space includes living/dining/work space & bedroom; bathroom has small claw foot tub with shower. Queen-sized memory foam bed; twin day bed (extra twin mattress beneath). HD TV, wifi, private deck, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, hot tea kettle and k-cup coffeemaker. Complimentary pint of craft beer in taproom. Located in a private setting in a hollow in the Taconic Mountains.

The Carriage House: Spotless, Charming 2 Bedroom

The 1820 Carriage House is in the heart of the beautiful Berkshires. Williamstown and Mass MoCA are up the road, Lenox is to the south, and Mount Greylock is around the corner. It's a fully equipped 950 square foot cottage, light, airy, charming and immaculate, conveniently located in Lanesborough. With seven rooms, two stories, a comfy queen and full-sized bed, full kitchen, washer/dryer and off-street parking, your Berkshire visit will be as comfortable as it is memorable.

Wildlife Lakeside Cottage; views/wildlife

Fully furnished and remodeled with new upgrades in Spring 2025 including a cathedral master bedroom suite with a full bath. Our private cottage is set on a peninsula at a cove where a trout stream enters the lake. Incredible amount of wildlife, especially all types of birds. The home has sunny views everywhere. Seasonal weeds do grow in the adjacent lake which can impact water activities, especially in the summer months. Sleeps 6. Ther are two full and one 1/2 baths.

Private 2nd-floor studio on a working produce farm

Charming 2nd-floor studio on a working produce farm in beautiful Berkshire County. Convenient to many local attractions such as Tanglewood, Bousquet Mountain ski resort, Naumkeag, local theater, museums, and much more. Visit our farm stand from late June through mid-October for fresh vegetables, baked goods, and our delicious corn on the cob! Spend time visiting with the farm's goats, horses and chickens, or just relax out on the balcony and take in the views.

The Sunset House

Enjoy a getaway in the beautiful Berkshires! Our cozy home is on a quiet dead end street with a 3 minute walk to Pontoosic Lake. Centrally located, a 15 minute drive to Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, 15 minutes to Bousquet Mountain Ski Area, a 25 minute drive to the famous Tanglewood or Naumkeag. The home is equipped with all basic needs, washer/dryer, smart TV's in living room and bedroom, WIFI included. 1 potty trained dog is welcome per stay.

Newly Renovated Red Door Annex

Private keypad entrance with parking. Large bedroom with a new Queen bed, full bathroom. There is a small table for dining and working, a small fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and pour-over coffee and tea in a nook outside the bedroom. The Annex is in a tranquil neighborhood between Great Barrington and Williamstown/North Adams and ski areas. 20 minutes to Lenox. Fire Pit. The Annex is attached to the main house but is completely private.
