My Airbnb is close to EVERYTHING in Ottawa's best neighbourhood, the Glebe. Walk to TDPlace (3min), the Lansdowne stadium, Carleton University, restaurants, theatres, shopping and Bank Street. Just a hop along the Canal to Parliament, downtown, the Byward market, CHEO and Ottawa U. Cozy and homey. Warm and welcoming. Just some of the comforts you will enjoy in my home. The eat-in chef’s kitchen is well stocked with stemware, dishes, pots, pans, 3 coffee makers, blenders, toasters, kettles, a bread maker, a popcorn maker and a crock pot. There is a whisper quiet dishwasher, gas stove, microwave, Sub Zero fridge and granite countertops . We also provide spices, olive oil, popcorn, paper towels and breakfast essentials such as STARBUCKS coffee, tea, cereal and oatmeal during your stay. The wood burning fireplace and 50 inch Smart TV (NETFLIX) are great for all. Business guests will enjoy the HIGH SPEED internet (Rogers Ignite 200 Mbps service), access to fitness, private decks and free parking. We also put in a land line telephone so that you can make local calls using a telephone rather than your cell phone. A voice activated, 50 inch, 4K high resolution TV and wood burning fireplace will make you want to stay in, but the supreme location near Lansdowne and the Canal will get you out and enjoying your day. Host speaks French and English to help you with your stay. This Glebe home is a great home away from home! It is a secure and private retreat and all yours during your stay. Great access to the Canal, shopping, fitness, theatres, grocery stores, Bank Street, Lansdowne, Whole Foods, Starbucks and the LCBO. Walking distance to Carleton University, the University of Ottawa, Parliament Hill and downtown. Very safe and vibrant neighbourhood. Well-lit entrance to the street. Sparkling clean. There is a little front deck and a larger back deck for guests to use. Lansdowne, the Canal and three city parks are just out the door but it is still nice to enjoy a drink on the patio. The" baby park" is two doors down but there is a large city park with an open air swimming pool, baseball diamond, dog park and tulips! Still have questions? Ask away. Host is available when needed and can meet guests at the home if requested. The house is in the Lansdowne neighborhood, close to theaters, restaurants, entertainment venues, and community parks. Walk to Carleton University, U of O and take a short transit ride to Parliament Hill. The Rideau Canal is out the front door. The best way to get around the Glebe is to walk but we are also very close to Bank Street where the #1 or #7 will take you right downtown. You can also walk along the Canal to get downtown. Easy walking or biking distance to Carleton University and Ottawa U. Additional parking can be provided for $30 per night. Guests must park only in the designated parking spot. (Thanks!) Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home or on the property. No parties. Guests must respect quiet hours between 11 pm and 7 am. Guests must be mindful of neighbours.

Luxury Apartment |Byward Market| Queen & Sofa Bed

Over-looking our private courtyard are two open-concept rental spaces. Bright and cozy with a charming mix of modern and antique decor, they can be rented individually or together to accommodate a larger group. The front of the building houses Parlour, our AVEDA Concept Hair Salon. This listing is for Suite #4, a cozy ground floor open-concept apartment. Warm and welcoming, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The compact yet fully loaded kitchen includes a dishwasher and has all the basic dishes & utensils for creating meals. The pull-out couch in the living room opens up to make a queen sized bed. Laundry machines are tucked away in one of the closets in the bedroom space. A wall of windows separates the living area and bedroom space, equipped with a curtain for privacy. Customizable rolling blinds in the living area can be adjusted for your comfort and privacy. You will have full private access to Suite # 4 with a 24hr keybox entry. The suite overlooks our private courtyard which is occasionally shared with other guests. I do not live on the property but can easily be found at the front of the building, working in the salon from Wednesday to Saturday. Feel free to contact me at anytime during your stay, my wife Jocelyne and I will be happy to help. The ByWard Market is a vibrant area with many great shops, seasonal patios, and restaurants. Local fruit and vegetable vendors set up all summer long, and during the winter season, skate down the Rideau Canal, the world's largest skating rink. There is a bus stop right around the corner, servicing local bus lines. Two of the major Public Transportation hubs, Rideau Street and Mackenzie King are less than a 10 minute walk away. The scenic cycling path is accessible from Major's Hill Park, a 5 minute walk away. Parking lots are available at all four corners of our location. The entrance to the courtyard & suites is located on the side of the building. During the salon's business hours, guests are welcome to access the courtyard by walking through the salon.

Appartement privé lumineux avec entrée indépendante : 2 chambres, salon cosy, poêle à bois, cuisinette, TV, WIFI, livres/films.
