The location is wonderfully convenient yet feels delightfully secluded. Pretty Suffolk villages, welcoming country pubs and local farm shops are all close by, making it easy to explore without travelling far.

The Strawberry Box is a luxuriously converted old tractor barn located on our working strawberry farm in rural Suffolk. South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

The Hay Barn, with its wonky beams and wood-burning stove, sits peacefully among acres of rolling farmland, moments from some of Suffolk’s most iconic sights, including Sutton Hoo - featured on Netflix’s The Dig. Wake to the splashing of wild mallards on the pond, pick juicy plums from the orchard, and set off on an adventure across the fields. Perfect for walking, cycling, exploring or simply hiding away.

‘The Den’…a rural haven in Suffolk

The Den is a charming and welcoming detached annex. Set in an idyllically peaceful and picturesque location with open-plan living and bifold panoramic windows that open directly on to a loggia with Log Burner. There are further outdoor seating areas in the Herb Garden and Hedge Box, where you can take in the expansive skies, Suffolk is renowned for. We are only a 30 min drive from the glorious Suffolk Coast where we have a traditional Beach Hut that is available for hire in Old Felixstowe.

The Old Monkey comfy, quirky and bags of character

The Old Monkey is a tiny but a very cosy and romantic place to stay in. It has every modern convenience but retains masses of original charm and character with its ancient wattle and daub walls, beams, tiny steep staircase, lovely lime wash painted walls and a cosy open log fire. It will appeal to those on shorter breaks who want to be near a Pub, Restaurant and Shops - but still be able to go on lovely countryside walks. Located centrally in Hadleigh, Suffolk, Orchard End Barn is positioned in an ideal spot for nearby wedding venues and within a short walking distance of the High Street. A great base to discover Constable country, the Dedham Vale and the famous medieval town of Lavenham. Our delightful property offers one bedroom with ensuite shower room, a spacious open-plan living/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Orchard End Barn has two peaceful and secluded courtyards for guests to enjoy.

The Old Stables. Detached and full of character

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!
