Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem. This newly built log cabin sleeps up to 3 people comfortably but 4 if required with the use of the fold out sofa bed, warming electric fire and mod cons such as kitchenette, heating, smart TV and tea making facilities. It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
