Just 30 min to Mohawk or Southington Ski Mountains. Just 10 min to downtown Litchfield, close to local farms & vineyards. For security we have two exterior cameras facing the door & driveway.

This is 1 unit in a 3 family house. 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants, Warner Theatre and Nutmeg Ballet. Shared huge garden, with Koi pond and pergola. Parking in the driveway for 1 car (possibly more, message for details). WiFi and Smart TV with some local channels (no cable). 45 minutes to Bradley Airport, 2 hours to NYC, 20 minutes to ski slopes.

Guesthouse Farm Stay

Come stay with us on our working farm. Relax and take in our beautiful 12-acre property while sitting on the back deck, overlooking pastures. Or for a more interactive experience, join us on a farm tour during our morning and evening farm chores. Our farm was established in 1739 with a rich history in agriculture and livestock. Our cottage is studio-style with an open bedroom, living room, and dining area. There is a kitchette and bathroom with a shower for your convenience.

The Cove Cabin

An original Candlewood style cabin. The house has been updated to offer all modern comforts. It features a large fireplace in the living room, porch over looking the lake, central heat and air conditioning and a fully equipped cook's kitchen. It is on the northern most part of Candlewood Lake with direct, private water access from the shore or the dock. A foam lily pad, two SUP, and two inflatable two person kayaks are available for use from May 1 to November 1..

The Wandering Peacock is a unique lodging experience. Outdoor spa, with a cedar hot tub and views of the Appalachian Trail, wood-burning sauna with herbs from the garden. Our Little Creek Cabin is a place to pause. The cabin is located next to a rushing creek, where you can soak in a wood fired hot tub while listening to the sounds of the water. We are minutes from Candlewood Lake & Squantz Pond, where you take take our kayaks out. There are many wineries, breweries, towns to explore, antique shops, ski mountains, and beautiful hiking trails. Here you can simply open the windows to listen to natures sound machine!
