The Old Chapel is tucked away in the small Dales village of Buckden for an incredibly peaceful holiday in a converted Wesleyan Chapel. It is ideally placed for exploring the local area on foot or bike. There are 4 pubs that serve food within a 2 mile radius with one a 2 minute walk away. Upper Wharfedale can be explored from the doorstep with easy riverside walks or more strenuous hikes up into the mountains. A short drive away are the villages of Kettlewell, Grassington, Skipton, Hawes & Settle

No.2 West Layton Manor is part of an Historic Victorian Manor House built in 1872. It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

Eating out, The Buck Inn is opposite and The George Inn, Hubberholme is a 20 minute walk along The River Wharfe. Buckden is a delightful place to visit, described by many guests as a hidden gem.

Sorry, no dogs – to protect our ancient woodland and the endangered red squirrels who live here.
