The Longbarn at Caerfallen

The Longbarn at Caerfallen is a Grade II listed, luxury, self-catering holiday home located on an historic farm in the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales just a mile from the Medieval town of Ruthin. Set in the farm's 70 acres of grass and arable land, and with far reaching views across rolling countryside to the hills beyond, this is the ideal place to relax and recharge. The property is also perfectly positioned for exploring Snowdonia, the castles of North Wales and historic Chester and Liverpool.

This cosy 'Red Shed' is tucked away in a tranquil 22 acre woodland in the Clwydian Hills, hosted by Rob & Claire. ​ Our quirky one-up, one-down self catering cabin is designed to accommodate 2 adults, but could sleep up to 4 if you don't mind being cosy... just ask! It is well equipped & most furnishings, including a beautiful greenwood bed are handmade. We welcome people attending craft courses in Wernog Wood, as well as walkers & other visitors to the area. All guests must be aged over 18yrs.

This romantic tree cabin is located on the edge of a tranquil woodland at the bottom of a beautiful privately owned 5 acre garden, overlooking a hypnotic river waterfall. This majestic retreat is where you can unwind, relax and recharge, with full access to the BBQ area and on site sauna. If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

The Granary - Dog Friendly watermill apartment

Secluded dog friendly apartment nestled in the Welsh borders Newly renovated, the accommodation forms part of an old watermill with its own access via an external stairs. The site is by the historic medieval market town of Ruthin, with multiple restaurants and bars (not to mention a pub within walking distance). There is secure parking and bike storage. The Wonder Wagon, a custom built bolthole on an old wagon chassis, has found a special place to park up for a final time here at Trelan Farm in beautiful Cilcain, North Wales. Inside the open plan layout has a stylish, kitchen/diner area and a cosy bedroom & ensuite. The French doors open out on to the decking with breath-taking views of Moel Famau, the farm & of course, your own private outdoor bath tub. Adults only. No children, babies or dogs.

Lots of great walks in the area, also 'One Planet Adventure' is nearby offering mountain biking, walking and trail running.

There will always be a friendly welcome at Cor Isa, a cosy stylish retreat on the hillside overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdonia and Zip World only 1hr drive away. Walks and cyclepaths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

There is plenty of walks to do in the area - Snowdonia and Clwydian range, Offa’s Dyke and plenty of beautiful lakes.
