An escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life awaits you in our idyllic tupa-sauna on the shore of Muonionjoki. This is my own design, self built. The cozy and traditional log cabin offers a unique vacation in the lap of nature. There is no disturbing city lights or sounds. Enjoy complete silence Enjoy the gentle steams in the wooden sauna and a refreshing swim directly in the river. You can see the northern lights right from the terrace or in bed. In the fall even swim as they flare.

Illan pimetessä nauti takan loistosta ja tanssivista revontulista. Rentoudu pihalla kuunnellen puron lorinaa tai souda järvellä keskiyön auringossa. Täällä voi tutkitusti hengittää maailman puhtainta ilmaa. Murtomaahiihto reitille ja kesäreitille pääsee pihasta. Tervetuloa Tunturi-Lappiin. Puhtaus ja hiljaisuus on parasta luksusta.

Villa in the heart of lapland

The cabin provides comfortable accommodation spaces and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals after long days. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which has separable beds. Upstairs there's a large bunk beds, WC and a fold-out futon sofa for an extra bed. The sauna is located in a separate outdoor building, accessed through a glazed terrace. An outdoor fireplace is also situated on the terrace, where you can enjoy even the chilliest of evenings.

Uusi uniikki, tunnelmallinen paritalomökki valmistui jouluksi 2023. Äkäsvilla on laatutietoisen lomailijan hirsimökki uudella Röhkömukanmaan alueella Äkäslompolossa. Mökki majoittaa 6 vierasta. Mökki sijaitsee hiihtolatujen, rinteiden ja luontopolkujen välittömässä läheisyydessä. Olohuone/keittiön isoista pohjoisen taivaalle ulottuvista ikkunoista voit ihailla tunturimaisemaa ja iltojen pimetessä nähdä tähtitaivaan ja revontulten loimut. Rinteisiin matkaa 1,4km. Kauppaan 3km

Villa Kaltio: cabin with traditional Finnish sauna

Lapissa Äkäslompolon kylän keskustassa sijaitseva saunallinen pieni vanhan porojen polun varrella oleva mökkimme on oiva kohde yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle. Mökin saunassa saat nauttia perinteisen puulämmitteisen saunan löylyistä. Kaikki kylän palvelut ovat kävellen tavoitettavissa ja bussit lentokentälle tai juna-asemalle lähtevät parin sadan metrin päästä läheisen hotellin pihalta. Voit myös varata meiltä erikseen aamiaisen, joka tarjoillaan päärakennuksessa. Tervetuloa!

Lähimmät palvelukeskukset ovat Muonio (25km) ja Levi (35km)

Syksyllä 2025 valmistunut hirsinen loma-asunto Äkäslompolon palveluiden läheisyydessä. Paikka on rauhallisella paikalla tien päässä. Alueella on valaistut hiihtoladut ja skibussi/bussipysäkki. Bussipysäkille 600 metriä Vuodevaatteet ja pyyhesetti lisämaksusta 25€/henkilö Loppusiivous sisältyy hintaan
