Fifteen minutes North of downtown Athens (8 miles from the stadium), this private home is located on five acres of farm land. The home, lovingly called “The Birdhouse”, was built by hand in 1900, and has all the charm of hand hewn boards, solid wood floors, and tall ceilings. Rumor has it, the original home owner, and namesake of the road, was a prolific moonshiner.
