The Burke Ranch Bunkhouse !

Wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle? Enjoy a stay at our 3rd Generation Family Ranch that is located 3 1/2 miles East of Highway 99. We have something for everyone! You can wake up and see cattle and horses on our working ranch. You can walk down our driveway and see the scenery of the Kansas Flinthills. You are a half mile from the Fall River Wildlife Area with its Public Hunting. We are also one mile from the Ladd Bridge where you can drop in your boat and/or Jetski and enjoy access to Fall River Lake.

The Prairie Home

Settled far out in the Tallgrass Prairie of the Flint Hills, the Prairie Home provides wide and endless views from a private hilltop. All rooms in the home, which was built by local craftsmen from native limestone blocks, have huge windows which frame the natural art of the prairie. Handmade woodwork complements the extensive interior stonework. The soaring ceilings provide a backdrop for original art collected by the owners. And everywhere you look, the setting will take your breath away.

The Blue Door Cabin

If you want a retreat where you can sleep in, slow down and savor nature's beauty, the Blue Door Cabin, tucked in surprisingly hilly oak and hickory woods, with a beautiful view of the pond, is your destination. Within two hours from Kansas City, Tulsa, Joplin or Wichita, and only 4 miles from Chanute Kansas, this preserved and revived cabin offers an easy getaway for city dwellers in need of a very affordable anniversary weekend, study or solitude retreat, or family hiking and fishing trip.

Beeman's Cabin

Tranquility and peacefulness surround you and helps you push the "reset" button on life! Step out the door and immerse yourself in nature! Evenings can be spent around the firepit, roasting marshmallows (which are complimentary), listening to coyotes howling in the distance or just gazing at the stars! Our furry friends will abide for your attention and will be a constant companion as you stroll down to the creek or up the trail to catch the setting sun. Life is better in the Country!

The BUNKER. The safest place to stay

Located in downtown Emporia's Art and Entertainment District where many major events are held. With-in walking distance of the Granada Theater and ESU. Ample free parking. Spacious accommodations are sure to please. This space is located in the lower level of a commercial office building that has recently been re-purposed as a guest friendly temp-stay unit with kitchenette. No need to worry when storms rumble through. Don't miss staying in "The Bunker" The safest place to stay.

This small old brick house has two bedrooms on the main floor and large sleeping area upstairs with a dbl and twin bed, queen air mattress for larger group. Small kitchen with a coffee station. Minutes from historic downtown, ESU and Outbound Gravel activities. Centrally located for disc golf. Garage for parking or bikes. Washer/ dryer on site. Flint Hills Glamping! Come reconnect with nature and rejuvenate by the water at this unforgettable escape. Stargaze, watch sunsets, or curl up and read on the loft Moonpod. For the explorers, there are plenty of gravel roads to bike, kayaks available for the pond, and plenty of fish to catch. ***Please note*** This is a dry cabin-meaning there are no water facilities inside, but there is an exterior entrance to a bathroom/shower off the main house that is available 24/7.

Come stay in a cozy private suite; walking distance from main street shopping, restaurant/coffee shop, Carnegie library and more! Suite offers a queen size adjustable bed, flat screen tv, microwave, dishes and apartment size refrigerator/freezer for all your snacks, treats, and drinks. Unit offers shared washer dryer available for use. (NON-SMOKING UNIT; EVIDENCE OF SMOKE OR VAPE WILL RESULT IN $150 fee. If you do smoke please do so away from doorway in grassy areas)

Ranch House

Beautiful 2 story house, built in the 1800’s updated. The home sits in a beautiful location of the Flint Hills. You can sit on the back porch or front porch and watch beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The Ranch House has a big beautiful manicured yard. Cattle roam right up next to the properties fence. A short walk down the road is a babbling creek. A quiet, beautiful, setting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Summit Hill Gardens Cottage, a little bit of paradise, is a place to enjoy solitude, peace and quiet. Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.
