National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

The cottage is located less than 200m from the Maydena Bike Park base and 15min from Mount Field National Park. The cottage is cosy & comfortable fitted out with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. If you share a love for the outdoors, hiking and mountain biking then Florentine Cottage is the place for you!

Part of the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale - Raspberry Cottage is named for the raspberry pickers who worked on the farm when it grew fields of raspberries. Cosy and rustic and beloved of honeymooners (spa bath) as well as families. Guests love the organic vegetable garden, the peace and quiet and the great rainforest walk.
