If you are looking for a quiet, private and peaceful get away with all the amenities, this is it. The cabin is literally in the middle of nowhere, all alone on a mountainside, but has everything you need. The views feom the deck and hot tub are beautiful. Two pieces of advice - 1. Plan ahead and bring food, drinks, etc...that you will need, because stores of any kind are quite a drive. 2. Slow and steady is the best way up the driveway, which is gravel and slightly steep in areas. We loved our weekend away from the world at the Red Cabin and would definitely return or recomend to friends.

Scott was super from the minute we booked until after we left - offering suggestions as well as early check in and late checkout. Place was great and close to wineries as well as Harper’s ferry!

Had a great stay! The cabin was beautiful and has a great atmosphere. Would come back again for sure!

Thank You for making my 54th birthday so pleasant and peaceful. The house is very private but at the same time it has glass window everywhere to let int he natural light. My favorite spot in the house was the back porch. It was private but the furniture was beautifully and comfortable. I spent hours just sitting and mediating out there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything a family would need to make a complete meal. The shower head made me feel like I was in a spa. The towels mad me feel as if I was drying with clouds. ( I have to find out where they bought those towels. I LOVED this house and so did my group of women I brought with me. There was plenty of room for everyone. I will definitely rent this house again.

We loved staying here! It was very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable beds with fantastic linens and pillows - better than most rentals. Also lots of great unexpected details that just helped us out - like usb ports at the outlets, quality pots and pans that weren't over scratched up, fresh sponge at the sink for our use - details like these make a difference. Our only regret is not having enough time to finish the puzzle of the dogs on the rollercoaster. Hope we can get back there one day!!

Our second year staying and can’t wait to return next year for our annual girls trip! Love this cabin, it’s so comfortable and well stocked. Feels like home and it’s surrounded by such beautiful trees!

A very welcoming place and has many forms of entertainment for both adults and children.

Stayed here with my daughters and were very comfortable and found the whole experience very relaxing

This is our third time staying here. We love the peace and quiet, easy access in the mountains that doesn't require a 4x4 vehicle. We stock up on groceries from home or the local Food Lion in downtown Berkeley Springs, then make all of our meals. Our kids enjoy the sleeping loft upstairs and the main floor bedroom is quite comfortable, we all slept quite well on each respective bed. The view outside is great, the screened in porch is so nice to have, ensuring a bug-free, relaxing time out in the cool mountain air. The wood burning fireplace helps with the cozy factor when inside, and even though we go there to get away from all the fast movement in the city, it is also nice to have satellite TV just in case you are feeling up to watching a movie by the fire. We will definitely be going back again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin itself is clean with mostly modern appliances. Ashley was very communicative. Nice spot in the woods Lots of little client care things like: some bottled water, well appointed coffee bar, nice towels and very comfortable bed. 12/10 Would recommend

Beautiful cottage at a very convenient location off the Cacapon state park and 20 Mns from Berkeley springs. Which made it easy to spend a great 3 days filled with hiking, golfing, shooting at the Park and meandering through the town. In BS, definitely check out a movie at the local town theater with excellent popcorn with real butter! The view at the cottage was absolutely stunning! Well worth the hours just gazing at the setting sun.. and the night sky is lit with stars since ambient light is little. Communication with cottage rental was easy, fast and extremely professional. Thank you!

This was a second property by Heather that I stayed at, and again she didn't disappoint. She has an impeccable taste for decorating. I can't wait to check out more Airbnbs she owns. thank you so much Heather! :-)

We enjoyed staying at Emily's place for a girls birthday trip. It was quiet and beautiful with fhe woods and nature surrounding us. It was close to Harpers Ferry and not too far from Hagerstown MD which allowed us to go sightseeing easily. It was a really good trip!

This place was fantastic! Great little cabin for unplugging from society. Clean, cozy, easy. No WiFi, no television, no distractions. Raymond was fantastic. The main property is in view but still extremely private. Will be staying here again soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin, couldn’t have found a better place to stay. There is a lot to do in the area if you enjoy the outdoors. Since we were traveling with our dog, we preferred to stay in and enjoy the cabin and the property. It is very quiet’ peaceful and relaxing…..we slept wonderful in comfortable bed too.

This is an absolutely amazing find! Super responsive host, extremely flexible with my check-ins and outs. The house was beautiful and clean, the fire pit was an amazing touch. The deck is perfect and so is the hot tub. The bed was extremely comfortable, check out was easy and he didn’t ask for much at all. I can’t get over how much I fell in love with this house.

Our stay at the hummingbird house was everything we needed to decompress from everyday life. The lake was serene, the mountain view was beautiful, majestic and relaxing. The privacy of the location was impeccable! We went fishing by the river and made a lovely campfire and ate s’mores. If we could give this place a 100/10 rating we would! The hosts were very helpful with whatever we needed. They were extremely responsive with our questions. We cant wait to visit this place again!

We loved our visit at Sarah’s, hadn’t stayed in a rustic cabin for a few decades, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our goal was Harper’s Ferry, and the drive was easy. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect

This cabin was picturesque! Beautiful area, located on the edge of pastures and very peaceful! The cabin is very charming and the host, Susan, was very respectful, responsive, and helpful! We would definitely stay there again! Shepherdstown is a small town straight out of a postcard! Harper’s Ferry which is rich in history and beauty is just a 20-25 minute drive away!

Great communication and a perfect spot

Everything was excellent and absolutely meeting expectations! We only wish the pricing was slightly cheaper for the smaller cabin we reserved. It was a great experience but could be maybe $25 cheaper.

The “cabin” was even nicer than the photos indicated - spacious, comfortable, well appointed, and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We did not have a single problem - everything we needed was there and everything worked! Lots of extras and thoughtful touches. All of this made for a great stay and we would definitely return!
