Nestled on the foothills of a kloof in the Magaliesberg Mountains, you find our selfcatering home “MziliKaya”. It is part of the Silkaatsnek Nature Reserve, home of Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Waterbuck, Kudu, Impala & various other Antelope, birds, etc. We are situated in the Hartbeespoort Dam area, which uses the slogan “Close to the City, Out of this World” for many reasons. 'River on my stoep' is a well equipped self-catering cottage in the Hekpoort Valley. The wooden cabin is on the Magalies River and is surrounded by the sounds of nature - the haunting cry of a jackal and a chorus of frogs is our music at night. One of the few places that you can still see fire flies at night (in summer) A rowing boat is moored in front of the cottage, exclusively for our guests. 'Catch-and-release' fishing is permitted.
