We loved this place and would return again! One of our favorite things about it was the 2 large windows which provided an “amazing” view of the ocean where we could watch the rolling waves and catch a sunset. A large side window also gives a view of the ocean and a beautiful cypress tree with Morro Rock in the background. There’s a public stairway to the dog friendly beach just steps away. The lovely downtown just minutes away by car had several nice restaurants, coffee and pastry shops, specialty stores and a beautiful pier. Morro Bay is 4 miles south and Cambria is 18 miles north, which makes Cayucos the perfect location.

We had 6 sleep comfortably using the air mattress. We did host dinner for 13 comfortably. Shower pressure was good. Hot water was always present. Had good laundry and dryer machines. Clean place. Convenient location. Can walk downtown in 10 minutes and to the beach in 5 minutes. Check in was easy. I think there was a hiccup because we didn’t receive the door code prior to check in. However, I was able to text Newell, and he called me back with the code. Newell was quick to help us with other minor things to help make our stay enjoyable. One thing to add on is easier access to netflix and amazon prime. The Smart TV only works with Samsung phones. We had to do a hack to connect a laptop to the TV and then use the internet wifi to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. However, this was a minor issue. We loved using the fireplace! We left items behind accidentally, but Newell allowed us to get them. Overall we had a 5 star stay, and we had a memorable and warm time.

Beautiful single family 3br house right by the beach. Very dog friendly yard (fences and gates). Lovely little town with shops and restaurants. Easy check in and check out - highly recommend.

My wife and I planned a visit to Sequoia, but when we got there smoke from a wildfire made it untenable. I contacted Heike, at the last minute, because we figured we'd head to the central coast. She responded immediately. And, lucky for us, the place was available. It's right next to a tiny airport (but you hardly hear any sounds and it's fun to watch a few small planes, e.g. Cessnas, take off or land. It's across from a park. There's a diner that's walking distance away. Pismo Beach, perhaps two miles away, has everything you'd want from fine dining to markets. I've never been to Oceano before. Now, I'm sure we'll go back. It's quieter than places like Morro Bay and SLO. The unit itself is a bit cramped, but not in a bad way. There's three bedrooms and two baths, and it's a two-story unit. I recommend Heike's place whole heartedly. She's super responsive. When one of the TV remotes didn't work, she had batteries delivered because she was out of town! Signed, Alan K

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was so cute, clean, and unique. It had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The porch right on the water was amazing too. We splurged a bit to stay here but it was well worth it!

Rental company was very communicative, house was very clean and well stocked. Very pleasant stay and loved Morro Bay! Visit the state park: golf, canoeing, hiking etc.

We really enjoyed the interior spaces, nicely furnished and homey. Well-equipped kitchen was important for us since we cooked most meals. Sometimes it is the little details that help like the night lights and the clear directions. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We even played ping pong in the garage. Nicely updated bathrooms. Although the home was close to the highway, we were not disturbed. Both interior and exterior areas were very well maintained. Thankfully our 2 small dogs were allowed to be with us!

Great location and nicely maintained older resort! Exactly as described and can’t beat the view or location.

It was great place to stay, clean, comfortable bed, and very relaxing. My family had a wonderful time and highly recommend anyone planning to visit Avila beach!

We had a great time staying at the RV! It was clean, fit 2 people and a small dog easily. It was easy to get in and out and explore the Pismo Beach area.

I wanted to take my granddaughter to Pismo for a quick get a way trip for her birthday. I saw Michelle's listing in the area I was wanting to go, so I filled out the information, hoping there would be availability since it was a spur of the moment trip. Michelle got back with me quickly and everything was set. When we walked in, we were both immediately so happy with the layout and the view from the patio was so beautiful. The breeze that came in with the door and windows open was so refreshing.... We loved our time staying here and already looking forward to another trip. The private parking space was a great bonus! Michelle was very helpful with any questions that I had.

The beds are so comfy and the host always thinks of the smallest details. Beach chairs and toys are available for use as well as extra beach towels and linens if needed. Local recommendations are given and questions are welcome. The price is always good as well.

We had such a wonderful time🌴The beachy studio is very clean, well equipped and comfortably set back a bit which added extra privacy. Amber & Bryan are very responsive and kind providing great recommendations & meeting our needs immediately. There are so many wonderful things to do close by within walking distance and a short drive away too. They also provide a few extra perks too 🥰 You can tell they want guests to have what they would want when traveling paying attention to detail🌴 A real gem that we found. We stayed for a long weekend. The house is as described and in the perfect location, right on the beach. Beautiful view of the pier and Morro Rock. Beds were comfortable, place was very clean throughout, kitchen had all the basic items that one would need. Will stay here again!

The location of the beach steps away can't be beat. I went for 3 miles walks every morning that were soothing to the soul. The house and the decor is super cute and had everything we needed for a week away. Thank you for the coffee, and though we didn't make waffles, appreciated that there was waffle mix, syrup and a waffle maker there. We went ATVing on the dunes, with the rental places right across the street and had a blast. Pismo is only a short easy drive up the road, and Fin's Seafood, a 1 mile walk up the beach, was wonderful. What a great trip.

Brendan was very polite and very accommodating. I absolutely loved the location we will defiantly be back again.

We spent 4 days at Amber's place and it was great! The access to the dunes (and the included vehicle day pass) just a hop over made it so convenient for us to go out onto the beach for our two older kids to play and then come back when needed to take a break with our 4 month old. We made use of the beach chairs, beach towels, & scooters in the garage. No need to pack any of that from home = a huge plus! Washing machine and dryer another plus! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Amber for a perfect place for our family to enjoy the weekend!

FIVE STARS ✨ We loved our stay here. The place was awesome, the location was incredible and they were very thoughtful- they had beach towels & chairs and a nice outdoor seating area/fire place. Will definitely come again!
