Hang Out in the Backyard Hammock at an Eclectic Abode

While away chilled evenings under the illuminated pergola at this spacious 1930s getaway an easy walk from downtown. Lounge on the deck while dipping your feet in the masterfully constructed stock tank pool. This characterful space blends a rustic wooden bench and gold-hued velvet armchair with vintage-look glass lighting. We love our home! Sleeps 4 comfortably. Brick house from the 1930s, with updated fixtures. Great for football or graduation weekends. There are bars, coffee shops and restaurants in the very near vicinity. A quick walk downtown as well. For a 5th guests, there is a queen-sized blow up mattress under the guest bed. Extra sheets, pillows and blankets are in the closet. We have a large backyard with a 10X20 foot pergola for eating outside. There is also a Big Green Egg for those who liked to grill. Guests have access to the entire house except for a small studio/office where we store our belongings when we are away. Guests will be given access to the house via a code to the front door keypad. Housekeeper makes sure that everything is in order for you arrival. If there are any issues or questions, just give me a text or email. Normaltown is the new hotspot in Athens. There are several good bars, restaurants, and coffee shops all within walking distance. This is a very safe area with lots of people out and about on their bikes, with their kids, and walking their dogs. About 3 blocks from the Athens transit and UGA bus stop. $5 Uber to downtown, five points and most of central Athens. On nice days we walk downtown in about 25 minutes. For dinner I recommend Uber/Lyft instead of driving to downtown, even if you are not planning on having a drink, as parking can be hard to find at night, and you may end up paying more than what you would have for the round trip with Uber or Lyft. Dogs are welcome. The backyard is completely fenced in and we have a doggie-door for medium sized dogs.

Conveniently located, we are a short drive to UGA's campus, Downtown Athens, Normaltown, and other surrounding areas. For those visiting for UGA football games, we are an easy 15 minute drive to Sanford Stadium. Downstairs is the master bedroom, master bath, living area, and kitchen. Upstairs you will find the other two bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

Be near it all when you stay at Cozy Cottage Home! The closest place to Wire Park, you can walk to its shops & eateries. Downtown is a 1-mile walk, UGA Stadium is a 12 min drive. I accommodate groups of 8 with two 6 " thick floor mats. The large fenced backyard is perfect for a pup, letting children play or relaxing after work. A fully equipped kitchen enables everything from full meal prep to a simple cup of coffee. Ask me about early check-in, late checkout, and future dates not yet open.

Athens Retreat: Comfort + Location!

Athens Retreat is located two miles from Sanford Stadium in a quiet and safe neighborhood. This is a fully furnished and well appointed house with all the amenities you need to cheer on the Dawgs, celebrate graduation, or attend a wedding. We continue to make improvements with a new tub/ tile in the hall bath, fresh paint/crown molding in bedrooms AND new appliances. Best of all, we now have hardwood floors throughout. Plus, there is a new 65" TV in the "Dawg Cave" downstairs den.

Athens Retreat

Our Neoclassical home rests on a hillside acre among towering Georgia Pine. Read or watch movies in the library, (the fireplace works) gather in the sun porch, make yourself at home in the dining room, tell stories in the living room, or entertain on the back terraces, beside the Koi pond and waterfall. We have 3 full baths and 2 half baths. Note: The airbnb software isnt able to list 1/2 baths. Roku, free channels, feel free to login and use your personal streaming accounts.

Cheerful 3-Bedroom Home 5 Miles to Downtown Athens

Bring the whole family to this great home with lots of room for fun. Located in East Athens and minutes from UGA Vet School is this charming 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a bright, open floor plan! The home is in a nice and quiet residential neighborhood. Please no parties. A short five-mile drive or uber will get you to Sanford Stadium and downtown Athens and all it has to offer. Close to Kroger and Publix as well as popular restaurants like Cali n Titos and DePalmas.
