We really liked this house and the location. The house was open and roomy making it the perfect place to hunker down and wait out the wind and rain from Ex Tropical Cyclone Tam. Nessie even let us delay our checkout time to wait out the rain.

It was great. It was the perfect place, even when the weather turned out to be rainy, it still provided a great outdoor area away from the elements!

Absolutely wonderful place for a relaxing holiday, Anna was lovely and made everything super easy. Beautiful beach, peaceful surroundings, friendly vibe, everything you need. We hope to be back, already regret not staying longer!

Large, spacious home. Was really conveniently located too. Glen was also responsive to any queries. We'd totally come back here next time.

We had a wonderful stay and certainly exceeded expectations. Very spacious and comfortable with a rural outlook. Some lovely touches including home made biscuits and a thank you gift. Having a Smart TV and a late checkout allowed us to watch The Masters before we left. And finally the hosts Peter and Lois were great. We will definitely aim to go back again.

Great spot on the coromandel with everything you need for a family getaway. We particularly loved how easy it was to bring our boat and fishing gear, along with our little dog. A classic kiwi bach!

My husband, my friend and I very much enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It was as described, situated conveniently near both the beach and town. Especially appreciated was a second bathroom. John responded promptly to a query or two and offered helpful suggestions. We would definitely recommend his place and would stay there again.

Muriel gives excellent instructions how to find Bush Apartment - READ THEM! We were warmly welcomed by Muriel who delighted in showing us around her home, designed by Evan, and made to feel at home. The apartment is spacious, well furnished & equipped and oh so peaceful. Sitting on the balcony, surrounded by native bush, listening to the little stream below and the birds above - magical. At night a clear sky, the call of Morepork and, if you're lucky, Kiwi. Of all the properties we stayed in, Bush Apartment must have had the biggest fridge/freezer! Kuoatunu, a few minutes drive away, is a lovely little coastal town with good cafes. Within driving distance are wide, sandy beaches - some only accessible on foot - and the thriving town of Whitianga.

We had a wonderful stay, although the weather wasn't the greatest, we made the best of it. Nice quiet place and close to the beach. Very comfortable and spacious, The Tui's in the trees was entertaining. Thank you, we recommend this special place.

Great place & views across to the town. We were there during extreme weather & Tracey & Greg regularly checked on us to see if we needed anything & were comfortable. The use of the spa on the deck was an added bonus too. Great hosts.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
