Situated just within the tree line, the cabin sits on the edge of beautiful Government Prairie which provides unobstructed views of the San Francisco Peaks while providing the beautiful scenery and wildlife of the vast Ponderosa Pine Forest. We're located only eight miles north of Williams and about 1 point 5 miles off the highway to the Grand Canyon, all on paved road, and just a 45 minute drive to the South Gate to the Canyon.

The Parks Chalet is cute as a button. Located 17 miles west of Flagstaff near the historic functioning railroad that also leads to the Grand Canyon . There is train noise and for most people it doesn’t bother them at all as you can see in the reviews. This is a perfect home base to explore Northern Arizona. It can be awkward renting STVR next to full time neighbors however Parks Chalet Borders the Kaibab National Forest with no neighbors next to you so you will have total privacy.
