Goose Creek Getaway--A Classy Country Cabin

This well-furnished cabin is surrounded by 18 acres of privately owned fields and woods. A wrap-around deck with a hot tub (extra) provides striking views. Hiking trails, fire pit, gas grill, golf cart, pond, laundry, Direct TV (3), internet, stereo, equipped kitchen and games all make for a fun country stay. Rising Star and Belterra Casinos are closeby, and a park/boat ramp on the Ohio is nearby. Rising Sun and Vevay are short drives, and the Arc and Creation Museum are both within 1 hour.

If you're looking for marble countertops, this may not be your place. But if you’re seeking quiet, character, and a taste of how things used to be, with a modern twist, welcome to our 1800s-era cabin. Renovated in 2022, the cabin is comfy but you can expect creaky floors, original woodwork, and a few quirks that come with age. The cabin is authentic, and thoughtfully kept. You will have TV, wifi, central heat, air conditioning but expect to hear the water pump run and there is no dishwasher.

This small, 1 room, new tiny house called “The Lite House” is decorated shabby chic and located in a beautiful wooded setting facing a cove at a marina with views of the water on the Ohio River. Catch beautiful sunrises here. There are shared places on the property guests can use while staying, a covered shelter with grills, supplies, tables, chairs, fire pit, side walks. You will use the restrooms in the shelter, just 5 steps away from your door. Umbrella provided in tiny house. See photos.

Cheerful 2 BR cabin on 48 acres with ponds/firepit

From the bubbling hot tub, take in the country air and tranquility at this breathtaking 48 acre (completely private) two bedroom, two bath cabin centrally located between the Ark and the Creation Museum. Enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine around the majestic firepit overlooking the rolling meadows. Enjoy pristine ponds (with LED fountains) to fish and swim. Watch deer and turkey roam the property. Hike the trails which include a frisbee golf course designed to take in the scenery.

The Cabin

As you walk in, The Cabin wraps it's arms around you and says " Welcome home." You can feel the stress leave you as you settle in for your stay at this scenic cabin on 9.8 wooded acres. Fully furnished, spacious 1 room cabin with stone wood burning fireplace, equipped kitchen, bath with shower and twin over queen bunk bed. Refresh your mind & soul on the covered back porch overlooking the mature woods. Enjoy watching the abundant wildlife, including turkeys, deer, chipmunks and squirrels.

The Little Farm House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. King size bed in master bedroom and garden tub in master bath. There is also a full bathroom just as you enter the the back door. There are no bathrooms upstairs however, there are two bedrooms and each bedroom has a queen size bed and two twins beds built in the wall. Beautiful scenery no matter what side of the house your on. Relax on the wrap around porch and enjoy the unforgettable sunsets and different types of wildlife.

The Dibble Treehouse

Welcome to The Dibble Treehouse! This cozy haven accommodates 4 guests and boasts all the amenities for an unforgettable stay. Relax in the hot tub or sauna, gently swing in the suspended bed or hanging chairs, and savor meals at the outdoor picnic table. The full kitchen is equipped for your stay and the wrap around porch offers stunning views. Enjoy evenings by the fire pit or take in your favorite shows on the smart TV. Stylish Bluegrass Cottage 7 min to Ark - Fire Pit!

Built in 1954, stylish Bluegrass Cottage has been recently renovated and modernized for your comfort and is located 7 minutes from the Ark, and 37 minutes from the Creation Museum!  Centrally located - 2 minutes away from Walmart and multiple restaurants, but still has plenty of privacy with a privacy fenced back yard, and your own propane fire pit! You'll enjoy access through the back gate to the local park with a walking path around the lake, perfect for evening strolls!

The Cute Little House Near The Ark Encounter

The "Little House" is a cute 1 bedroom house located on our farm in a beautiful country setting with 6 acres of outdoor space for relaxing. It is separate from our home and is all yours. It is conveniently located only 8 miles from the Ark Encounter and you only need to make one turn to get there. We have chickens, ducks, turkeys, a horse, and 11 goats. We also have a 1/2 mile nature trail to explore with a scavenger hunt, and a campfire spot with free firewood.

The Treehouse is a perfect retreat! It is secluded by the hills surrounding Madison. Complete privacy, yet 5 minutes from downtown, or hilltop. Year-round views of the beautiful hills of Kentucky. Winter views of the Ohio River and downtown. The house has stunning ceilings made from coastal cedar off an island near Vancouver, British Columbia and beautiful skylights in the studio and indoor pool area. This is an Adults only property. 2-night min.
