Uitwaaien, a Dutch word meaning “to take a break to clear one’s head” or literally “to walk in the wind”, to refresh body and mind. With Philip’s Dutch heritage and our time living in the Netherlands, Uitwaaien holds special meaning for us. Ons C-Huis: Gansbaai Seafront Accommodation

This beautifully renovated seafront holiday house is situated between Gansbaai and De Kelders in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. Overlooking Walker Bay, the generous elevated deck allows for the best seaview and up close whale watching opportunities from August to November each year. There are two barbeque (braai ) areas, indoors and outdoors on the seaview deck. Enjoy uninterrupted seaviews from the lounge and wake-up to the soothing sounds of the ocean in the two seafront bedrooms.

Pearly Beach is a small coastal town approximately 20km from Gansbaai and about 2.5 hours' drive from Cape Town. The beaches of Pearly Beach are legendary with white Sandy beaches extending for miles where one can take long, lazy uninterrupted walks. Whales migrate to this coastline from July to January and can easily be seen from the patio or dining area as they are situated merely a few hundred meters from the shore.
