Walking, watersports, etc - or just relaxing! Excellent location for exploring - day trips in all directions. Easy to reach - Edinburgh or Glasgow 75 minute drive. Lovely year round – in summer, south facing sun and dining on the decking; in winter, walks and warming by the log fire. Wonderful views always!

The shower room and bedroom with king size bed is located on the ground floor. Cupar is a perfect location to explore Fife and surrounding areas.

Open fire and stove and pool table. Hot tub, outdoor wood burning sauna, bbq and fire pit. Half a mile of complimentary trout fishing. Peaceful and secluded. If there are 1 or 2 night gaps- they are bookable via the calendar. Dogs welcome at no extra charge. Large 4 acre enclosed garden.

At this unique and tranquil getaway, we suggest you try leaving your phone turned off during your visit so you can fully appreciate tranquility in the woods. Enjoy the slow life, destress and go for country walks and look out for Deer, Buzzards, Horses and Sheep. Wake to the wonderful sound of birds chirping away. The cottage is small and cozy with a wood burner. 1 toilet and shower. 2 double-bed bedrooms upstairs accessed by a spiral staircase. We also have good WiFi.

Set in 3 acres of gardens and with beautiful views of the valley, Shiel House is the perfect retreat.
