It is close to the loch, perfect for kayaking, and just a short stroll to pubs, restaurants, shops or even seal trips, the location is perfect. It is truly unique and centuries old, but has modern comforts throughout and even its own off street parking, a rare find in Plockton!

From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Garden cottage is well placed for visiting Lochcarron, Plockton, Skye, Gairloch NC500, and many of the stunning West coast beaches are within reach. Garden Cottage is a fully renovated traditional house with oak floors and underfloor heating. A haven for wildlife and birds. Perfect for a quiet retreat or for walking the stunning mountains all around the cottage including several Munros. The track up to the cottage, the Coulin pass, is a National mountain bike trail and continues to Torridon..

Clickety-Clack Cottage

Clickety-Clack is nestled at the head of Loch Eil, 10 miles from Fort William, 6 miles from Glenfinnan. Sleeps 4 persons max. Sits along side the A830. 1 well behaved dog is permitted at the cottage with prior arrangement. We have beautiful views of the Loch and Ben Nevis. Perfect for couples and families and sits alongside the West Highland Railway line, the cottage is in the enviable position to watch the trains pass the front door. Car is essential in order to see the surrounding areas.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

The Byre is a lovely renovated barn. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and train station, and a 5 minute drive to Plockton or Isle of Skye. Discover the great outdoors right here on your doorstep or enjoy some great restaurants and pubs in Plockton. The cottage offers 1 double bedroom and 2 single beds up on the mezzanine. The Byre is modern, cosy and well equipped. Including Wifi, Netflix, underfloor heating, lovely Nespresso coffee, a bbq/firepit and outdoor space. Pets are allowed.

This area is one of the most beautiful places in the world! Fantastic walks, wildlife, castles & brochs, seafood, bakery and a chocolatier! Otters & Herons can be spotted on the shore, and clear starry nights are memorable…

Shore-side house with a sandy beach just across a very quiet lane. Stunning view of Broadford Bay & Beinn na Caillich. Excellent base location for touring Skye & the surrounding area. After four great years of hosting with AirBnB within in our home, we've used the covid hiatus to transform the old croft house into a spectacular and luxurious retreat. Duich Cottage is situated in the picturesque and tranquil village of Ault a`Chruinn on the shores of Loch Duich. The cottage is ideally located with easy access to Kyle of Lochalsh and the Isle of Skye as well as the charming villages of Kintail, Glenelg, Dornie and Plockton. The village of Dornie is home to the world famous Eilean Donan castle which is only a 10min drive from the cottage.
