There's lots to do! We are five minutes from the beautiful town of Poulsbo, 20 minutes from Bainbridge Island and the ferry to Seattle, and just 1 1/2 hour to the heart of the Olympic National Park. We are 45 minutes from Pt. Townsend. We are also close by to lovely trails and beaches on the Kitsap Peninsula.

The many attractions of Historic Downtown Poulsbo are just steps away when you make the Seafarer's Cottage your getaway destination. Perched above Front Street, on 4th Avenue, the home boasts expansive west-facing views of the Olympic Mountains, Liberty Bay, and the bustling harbor and downtown. Use this as your home base to discover other parts of the area; from Bainbridge Island, to quaint Port Gamble and the Olympic Peninsula, we're ideally situated to explore all the region has to offer.

Relax with the expansive view of the Olympic Mountain peaks across the Hood Canal from the entire glassed in house-front. Sit down by the fire pit to view sunsets, eagles, herons, seals, otters and occasional porpoise or orca passing. Your comfort is our goal with our mid century mod home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). Enjoy the beachfront park nearby. We are only 10 minutes from Poulsbo, Port Gamble, and the Hood Canal bridge.

Enjoy a separate entrance to your private studio through the shared garage. You'll stay in a great location, situated between the old historic mill town of Pt. Gamble and the City of Poulsbo, known as "Little Norway." Both towns are on Puget Sound with cute shops. Many people also come to enjoy the Mts. Located just over a mile south of the iconic Hood Canal floating bridge.

Enjoy the wrap around porch and two balconies over looking Port Gamble Bay (part of Puget Sound) In the evenings enjoy beautiful sunsets over the forest on the other side of the bay and in the morning fall in love with the fog that clings to the trees across the water. Explore the shore down the steps and harvest some oysters for dinner! In the summer months enjoy the private outdoor heated pool. Guests can expect a heated pool May- October ish.

You will have access to the waterfront as well as use of two kayaks or you can bring your own. Bring your Mt. bikes or go for a hike in the nearby Port Gamble Trails. Quiet and surrounded by forest. Nearby restaurants, sandy beaches, Hood Canal, Olympic National Park. Named Boysenberry Beach due to the boysenberry bushes on the property.

Explore the Olympic Peninsula while staying in our bijoux tiny house nestled in the lush rain forest at Millie's Gulch. Sip your coffee (or wine!) listening to chattering birds and frogs. Grill a steak on the BBQ, light a fire in the pit and watch the stars peak out from behind the forest canopy. Read, relax, drive around to the local port towns or just do nothing - that's how we planned it. Small pets welcome - but please check with us before booking.
